I used to use the party chat headset that came with my Xbox one, it ended up breaking so I rushed out and saw this and bought it in white/green. It literally changed how I hear and play in Apex. It’s nice that the sound of gunfire or footsteps change based on which way your character is facing AND I can also listen to my party chat at the same time.

I got this exact headset for $29 at target a year and a half ago. I use mine moderately when I play Warzone, it’s a solid headset all around. I thought about upgrading for Christmas but it’d really be a waste of money to buy another set for marginal quality increase in my opinion. And remember, you can adjust the sound volume in your game settings past what the physical volume wheel will get you.

I had an older version of this brand and it lasted me around 3 years - great sound and I sing karaoke on smule and the mic was great - the problem is that this new version doesn't have an adjustable mic where you can put it far away from your mouth which is a big problem for singing due to distortion.

My Review 1 year later I keep my headsets in good condition and this is the first and only one to ever do this The cord is cheap - maybe it was temperature of which it was kept but the cable over time got very weak. As of 3 months ago the cord began to peel and would tear really easily. The covering on the ears kept up. It never peeled and stay on pretty well. Sound was always amazing however be careful with your volume wheel because if u are like me and try to turn ur volume up and down alot don't turn it to quickly. Mine are at the point where I have to have the wheel at a certain point for it to work Very comfy and I have bigg ears Very bendy and won't snap just by touching them If u are on a budget and want a quality headset I would recommend them

They are pretty similar. I think the Turtle Beach have a clearer sound where the Stingers have slightly more bass. The mic is way better on the Turtle Beach

My astro a50 broke for good. We are in transition to the new generation of consoles so I bought this headset just to hang on a little bit probably a year while I get the new ps5 and a set headset. Honestly? The sound of this headset is pretty good. I play cod with this Headset and I can hear everything. Not like the a50 but it does the job. I play warzone and I can detect the enemy from far and hear footsteps and pinpoint the exact location of the enemy. I'm impressed.

Grabbed these untill I get a new cord for my TB 350vr headset . They are good for $40. Wish there was a little more Bass. Bass help with footsteps but for 40$ expectations shouldn't be high.
