This makes me remember an idea I had ages ago, of a game that would basically be an “apocalypse simulator” where you pick which kind of apocalypse you want to survive in ( examples: Disease Outbreak, good old Zombies, Governmental overlords/Governmental collapse, you get the ideas) One where you make your own survivor and have a multiplayer option (NOT online, JUST NORMAL MULTIPLAYER) I’ve never seen a game that got close to this idea before, but this one sorta has the same vibe. Man I wish I could make games 🥲 we need more post apocalyptic titles

Stardew Valley was made by one guy alone over time for the most part. You can buy a lot of stuff like engines / graphics. You can find freelancers or studios to pay to code. Either land and dedicate a ton of time like years to it, or find a way to make enough money to pay someone to make it. I can make some basic games but it’s not worth the time and hassle, unless I had help. So I’m also just hoping to one day have the money to pay your studio to make my idea, my idea is basically a perfect properly made MMORPG that people will be interested in for many years. Notable replayability and continuing development.

I believe they shouldve went with blurry flashbacks of the entire first chapter with more to unlock in that pre-story and then you wake from the nightmare into the post apocalyptic chapter 2 as the start. I would also think a Geiger counter would be appropriate for a city recently nuked or whatever the hell that was.. you would think there was some type of radiation left and they could give more illusion of depth in the city by opening up some walls and controlling where you're going through radiation rather than 19,000 storage crates that make no sense. Make it hard, enemies should most likely best be avoided and add lots of them. They can tune damage down if they add more fun mechanics to the game later but I think it's important to sell the gameplay if they want to give out keys for very early Alpha stuff.

The bearded man in the confrontation at the beginning is a veteran of the war. He is pissed that his country has done nothing to help him after he risked his life to defend them. Now he is poor and begging on the streets. He is taking pictures of the the people he accepts money from to help him find those people to repay his "debts" once he is able to. Most likely he is an honest man and has no choice but to beg. Seemed pretty clear to me despite the awkward delivery by the voice actor.

The game actually looks pretty good, though I feel this was too early of a glimpse at it to really show that. The voice acting is probably the worst offender, it needs a total redo with actual voice actors. The animations are in need of some smoothing, and better lighting/shaders could very easily make this game look beautiful. All in all I think it has "Potentia"!

I'm pretty sure that the game was telling you that you could climb on yellow stuff. Every where you climbed, you had a yellow indication. Yellow containers, yellow paints on wall, etc. Even the yellow crane at the end I would presume you can climb on it.
