For anyone wondering why the mixed media works so well here. If you have 3d animation experience you can tell this was animated in 3d software using the 2d characters on layers above or below Gwimblis. It's impresive af how they got his shadow to render so properly on backrground layers. It looks trippy once you start looking at how well planned the layers were for a 3d model to interact with a 2d space.
