I live in Australia and deal with snakes on a regular. I would say that the sanke attack was pretty on point, you can really only see a snake when youre right on top of it or super close by unless looking for it.

I live in a bush area of Tasmania, Tiger snakes are really common in the warmer months, even around the home. And yeah, you're nearly right on top before you see them. But even then, unless you step on them, or damn close, they'll run before they attack. We have a really smart dog that if she detects a danger noodle, she'll stay back a couple of meters and bark until one of the humans acknowledges the danger. She won't get close or attack them, the snakes seem to really dislike the barking and move away quickly.

In Oklahoma, the Cotton Mouth snakes come at you.

You didnt Die, Kelvin did... so You got that going for ya.. LOL , I like the idea behind the game and story, needs a little adjustment on combat, maybe a lock-on , the enemies seem a little fast, day seems short, maybe its a little more optimized for multiplayer, Inventory needs to be able to stack things like bandages, cloth, rags, Hopefully Devs fix it up a little
