Isn't the arrow supposed to rest above the handle? Where that leather part is? And i think it should also be a little dent in there to mitigate the archer's paradox. If i am wrong please explain it to me.

I know that a lot of the recurves I’ve shot have either had ledges or handles that would allow for the arrow to rest. With this traditional longbow, I guess we’re just using our hand. 😉 like we would with a survival bow!

Showcase - The Alexander Longbow! Ft THE RECURVE The recurve? Can't use it? Practice harder. You either know how to use it or you don't. There is barely an in-between. (I am inept. I shot a moose in the heart my first hunt and quit while I was on top) The long bow? Easier....probably. Maybe. IN THEORY. It really varies between arrows. Again, the 700s are essentially tiny spears and will not be treated otherwise. You wouldn't think a stick of wood and a string would be pretty but it really do be like that sometimes. Even the arrows are pretty. Bo hunts bison as they were meant to be hunted: running pell-mell after them in the open field and indiscriminately firing small javelins at them. I can't wait to get in touch with my inner archer for one to two hunts before I end up blasting things with the M1 in my search for glory xD

I find it marginally easier than the recurve (which is not saying much), but certainly not “laser accurate” as some streamers claim. I’ll stick to the compound bows.

The lightest arrow certainly seems laser accurate out to nearly 60yds, getting heavier, though- not so much

Soooo. I'm watching everyone aim the Recurve the same and on my Game. I HAVE TO USE THE TIP OF THE BROAD HEAD. .. MAKES NO SENSE AM I MISSING SOMETHING.
