Welcome back to the channel and in today's video, I open up 4 brand new Topps Match Attax 2024/2025 1st Edition Multipacks! This is a first look at the brand new Match Attax collection and each multipack retails at £6.99 and contains a first edition checklist and 31 new cards, including a brand new Gold 1st Edition Limited Edition card of which there are 6 exclusive cards to find and 6 first edition stamped cards, plus 9 Exclusive Edition Immortal Icon cards can be found 1 in every 4 multipacks, with William Saliba, Andy Robertson, Virgil Van Dijk, Frank Ribery, Ronaldinho, Granit Xhaka, Rodri, Marquinhos and Javier Zanetti all to be found. In this video we do strike gold and find not 1 but 2 Immortal Icons of Granit Xhaka and Ronaldinho completely smashing the odds!

It’s just random luck I think, don’t think it’s any rarer than any of the other rainbow type foils in the 1st edition multipacks!

I hate what is topps doing with this first edition cards, I like it how panini is doing, not to be exclusive to a multipack, just some cards from the base collection

Everyone has their own preference, but I personally love the first edition cards, it adds excitement to the multipacks and means you aren’t just getting loads of the same cards you will then find in the regular collection!

@FootballCollectibles I think they are marketing scheme for topps to earn more money, I think the start of the collection is when everything is release not now, at least make it like last year just the 1st edition now they add so much and where I live they don't release them plus they got even more expensive

I love topps and hyped to get this for myself aswell although I would like it more if they bring this out in like September so the transfer market is closed and we know which teams are in which competition.

I don't think it is good that topps is doing a great job with this 1st editions, but yes it is annoying that so many player cards are out dated because of their transfers, but you can't release to late because the hype is gone

It’s always tricky for both major card companies to know when to release their collections but I get where you are coming from, an extra few weeks wouldn’t hurt but I know there are print deadlines, as well as agreements with shops that all play a role in release dates!

There are a sub-set of cards that release before the start of the proper collection to get people hyped, the only difference is that they have a sign that says 1st edition
