I had this headset for about a year and used it from cheap potato PC to the iPhone SE of this year and there are zero issues with it to me but that is subjective. Call me crazy but I liked them better than the HyperX Cloud Alpha.

DrPepper My experience is different. I run this headset on a Lenovo M73 Tiny and there is no mic static. But hardware varies from person to person.

Thanks for the review , have you thought that maybe something in your room is affecting the headsets' mic? I don't know if that even can happen but if it is maybe that's the case since you told us it happened with multiple headsets. I think one reason could be the jack input on the tower to be faulty or have to much dust.

Because I don't want to stream with it I don't have the same issue with the mic which works fine for gaming use. Honestly FOR IT'S PRICE I would give it 9/10 and well worth buying if you are looking for a reasonably priced corded gaming headset. The only reason it doesn't get 10/10 for its price range is the mic mute system is a little ott and yes the mic quality could be a little better. Again this is all taking into account the price. Obviously if I were to compare them to a $150+ headset that's very different. But for what they are they get the job done nicely.
