Overall the meta looks quite balanced, to have all melee specs within 12% of eachother and the vast majority around 5% variance in dps is impressive and well done by blizzard so far..

​@@jonaya9944Because they refuse to have different auras for pvp, m+, raid and open world. So a spec performs well in raid like Fury hence they get shafted in all other content when nerfed.

@@jonaya9944because there’s hundreds of skills, thousands of talents, and dozens of tier sets. Nearly infinite possibilities to consider in a vacuum until people discover what is meta. Balancing classes against themselves is hard enough, but considering them in every possible combination of 5 man groups and 30 man raids is even harder.

Melee is mostly balanced in terms of overall damage then :), the biggest difference is utility and affixes are not too demaning in that area either

Fury and Rogue ranked over Ret is kinda wild. Fury getting its third set of nerfs in 11.0.5 as well. Neither spec has the utility or defensives or AOE damage of ret either.

I’m loving ret. I haven’t even hit M+ yet. It’s just a fun spec to play and also looks awesome visually. My shammy isn’t geared at all and does fairly well too. I could only imagine if he was higher geared.

Everything is totally viable in raid and M+ for melee. I would put Arms into the A tier though for raid, just behind Ret

Oh boy another tier list 😂 I don’t care if Unholy is never the best, Unholy Riders is the most enjoyable spec in the game. Unholy is S+ for higher keys and bigger pulls

At the start of every single season the last 2 seasons (of dragonflight) and now the first season of TWW - enhance was and is shown as being one of the best melee specs. If you are an enhance player please prepare for the disappointment. These tier lists dont matter one bit. You will almost never get M+ invites unless the group is desperate for a particular affix to be handled or they are family friends.

We are top in raid and viable in m+😂 , not sure what are you on😂 Our main knock is arms aoe package is literally cleave + reap the storm and we don't have the best on demand burst aoe ( with slayer, but colossus is pretty solid in m+ ATM) , but tuning can change this. Fury is so dependent on OF and BS being strong that it's alr nerfed😅

ToD AoE was freaking cancer. I'm glad it's gone. Most of the damage was lost damage that was recorded by logs anyway which was stupid.

I truly don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been playing WoW since literal day 1 of vanilla, and have mained DK since they came out in Wrath. Given, 99% of that time, I’ve played as Unholy, as Frost is almost always unplayably bad in both PvE and PvP. And because of my countless hours of experience and sweaty try-hardness, I’m essentially always in the top 3 DPS, minimum. I’m not fully geared at all yet, but so far in TWW as Frost this is by FAR the weakest I’ve ever felt on a DK and it’s not even remotely close. I’m literally BARELY out DPSing tanks in raids. I have all the experience, and Frost is definitely easier to play than Unholy, and I’m not horribly geared, so I just don’t get how I’m going so badly this expansion.
