I got lucky bought a new 12k equipment trailer couple weeks ago for hauling mid size tractor out and hay in 18+2. Was originally targeting a 14k but came across a custom build someone did on a 12k and never picked up. Had the heavy duty ramps 24x60, steel dove and wood floor, black wood, D rings also up sides, steel in place of a board. 5900 included a tool box...

I think you should do a follow up on both trailer locks. I would say inside of the month there will be a KZbin video on how to defeat both of them. That seems to be the way it goes with every trailer lock I’ve ever purchased.

It's an accepting thing that ANY lock, safe, or whatever can be overcome given the time and resources - what any of them do is make it dificult enough to not be worth the time, effort and risk to beat them. Even then, when people do demonstrate them being beaten, it's by VERY experienced people working in optimum conditions - neither of which are likely in the field. Heck with trailer locks, if someone wants it that badly, they could cut the entire hitch off off the trailer, at the trailer, and weld on a tempory replacement they can hitch up to.

The ribbed wheel lock was an intelligent design. Trailer manufacturers need to step up and offer a way to lock their wheels or axle too, and then it’ll be truly secure

A little surprised the trailor lock chap said he hadn't hit it with a sledge hammer, but that might have been him, personally, and they'd actually had people wailing on it for hours. The fingerprint scanner is neat, but when you consider the operator is likely to have dirty hands, even be wearing gloves, it may be less useful. The PJ chap seemed to be quite worn out by that point - might be an idea to have more staff next year to give some relief? Bix Tex - I like the battery on the lift frame - smart move, also like the focus on stack, as it has many advantages. With the shipping container loader/unloader, same thing as I mentioned a few weeks ago with the Roll Outs - there is potential for utility companies to build mobile generators on the platform, emergency pumps, mobile offices, secure tool sheds, ablution blocks, etc - basically anything that needs to be moved and that can be built onto the standard shipping container base design dimensions. With the added security that only specialist vehicle can transport them - the 'average' thief could hook up a trailer and steal the equipment, but not this.

I wanna try breaking into that first big hitch lock, the second little hitch lock looked like a joke in comparison to the first one. The PJ salseman was terrible, big tex trailer seemed gimmicky, stuff that looks cool but doesnt work in proactice. The haulit trailer seemed pretty awesome. Not sure about 27k of awesome but everythjng is expensive these days. And i dont know about the quick load, to advanced for me, I'll use my old stupid landoll. Always doesnt the job, if it breaks i know how to fix it.

Altor trailer, l...what about just drilling the lock?. it's a ball design in reverse lock. think like a thief to catch a thief...just design a can or bucket to drop this upside down trailer ball into such as a can/basket hitch and a large U- bolt to flip over it behind the coupler latch and you are good to run down the road. later on torch it off at the convenience of your chop shop. the Kevlar puncture stuff is a must have for companies that have employees who mow over utility marker flags, as once you chop the flag off the wire, those wires are still in the ground perfectly vertical to puncture the tire until a tire holds onto those metal stakes and pull that stake out of the ground... could be 1- or 50 punctures later. had 1 south of the border worker run over about 1,400 feet of these flags on one property, the very same day he did it, one tire on his machine had to be fixed FOUR times losing 4 hours of work on just that one machine, and it still had to have the tire replaced the next day due to all the leaks. don't really care for PJ trailers, they rot apart pretty fast. very interested in the big tex roll off trailer....need to get a more capable truck for it first to make a killing in an industry i know a high demand market for. quick loadz....omg this is going to make so many things game changing. i can instantly think of 3 high profit jobs that can be done with this system.
