I saw one land at Logan Airport in Boston and it flew in over my head as i was walking across its flight path. It was a virgin airlines a340 600 and it's been my favorite plane ever since. What a beautiful Beast !

A340-600 are great aircraft. I believe virgin Atlantic had loads on many routes and I travelled on these for many years. Only downside was their smaller engines. It used to feel like they had to use up most of the runway to takeoff!

A340 is mys most favorite Airbus aircraft, I like the 4 engine aircraft because they are so classic and kinda reminds me of the planes on the 70s like Boeing 707 and DC 8. It was sad that the 4 engine aircraft are going to extinct because of the 2 engine wide body aircraft but this aircraft was very special because it kinda look of classic or remembering the old days where 4 engine aircraft are still kings and queens of the sky... A340 is the last 4 jet engine aircraft has been designed in the 20th century and served many airlines until this 21st century but it was also that it's time to say good bye for that aircraft... Love the video and nice shot of the aircraft, the livery was cool and they make this wonderful aircraft into a most beautiful aircraft I've ever seen.

WOW this is one looong plane ✈️ but actually the new livery doesn’t look all bad. I sure didn’t like it at all when I first saw it but it’s slowly growing on me. A340/A330 have the best economy seat configuration (2-4-2) The 3-3-3 in the 787 and 3-4-3 in the 777 are just horrible for long duration flights.

depends on your group size but yes, a 2-4-2 is always better than a 3-3-3 or 3-4-3 but those with 3-4-3 can carry more people and make the ticket prices cheaper in theory
