FIRST M.A.N. Tractor: 1938 MAN AS 250 Diesel // Very Rare German Tractor Gem - Start, Sound Drive

The 50 hp MAN AS 250 tractor was produced by MAN from 1938 to 1946 in another attempt to enter the tractor sector. The in-house truck engine used astounded with its direct injection and the G-method used. The MAN AS 250 attracts attention at every exhibition, as it is the first tractor built by MAN and is considered one of the most modern tractors of its time. During the Second World War, production in Germany had to be halted and the tractors were manufactured at the Latil tractor factory in Suresnes, near Paris. Just over 1,300 MAN AS 250s were built, although fewer than thirty are known to exist in Germany today, of which only around ten are still in running order. This running example in the video is from 1943 and belongs to a Swiss collector who showcased this very rare German tractor gem at the 5th International Classic Tractor Meet in Schötz, Switzerland, to the public.
