This show has a gigantic budget. Obviously no business likes losing money, but the higher ups were probably happy that someone hit the million. It probably gave them great ratings and a lot of traffic towards the show after people heard about someone winning a million.

I remember watching that episode because that was the very first million dollar winner from that show. And I can tell you that that woman did it right. She saw the puzzle and got it. But she was very happy about it. And by the way she did get a dog anyway. They had enough money to basically buy a dog basically a puppy to be exact. Because they need a dog so bad anyway. I wonder what kind of dog she got a yellow lab a golden retriever or maybe even a basset hound or maybe even a German Shepherd or maybe a Scooby-Doo look alike like a great dane that is with those ears it stick straight up in the air. I'll tell you what it's been so long since I've seen that but I'll tell you just looking back on it kind of makes me feel like whoa that woman want a lot of money. 1,026,080 that's a lot of money they had to put out!
