First Minister of Wales Vaughan Gething loses vote of confidence

The First Minister of Wales Vaughan Gething has insisted he is not going to resign after losing a vote of no confidence.
The motion was put forward by the Conservatives and follows the collapse of the co-operation deal between Labour and Plaid Cymru in the Senedd.
Mr Gething has only been first minister since March.

It's hardly a dictatorship as they get voted in by the voters in Wales. People in Wales do have a choice who they vote for, it's just the Tories don't appeal to the majority outside of the areas they normally win the seats

Irishman here, so many of uk labour candidates have squandered their prime opportunity of becoming the leading and uniting force in the UK. After the recent period of tories policy failures, the mishaps of the SNP this moment was perfect to labour to take the reigns implement basic effect policy from the south of wales to the top of Scotland now every one of these controversies gives cymru plaid and snp evidence that English based parties can not maintain the UK as it is. Personally myself republican in nature so I’d prefer to give wales and Scotland ample ability to decide their own matters buts it’s just frustrating to see history repeat itself.
