FIRST MODS YOU SHOULD DO!

Best thing for these cars to start off with is a good set of tyres and a brief decent alignment, then go abd enjoy it, they're decent cars out the box, both my clio builds have been extreme, I'd love a standard one now.

100% agree always enjoy it first! Extreme but pretty epic is the term you should use! Flamer now, was it a arctic blue with a meg lump before?

@@jwmeale3058 I broke the cup down last year and started building this in September, this is to spec i always wanted the other 😊 Was a flamer to begin with but then it was sprayed in a Renault red, not the trophy red though.

First mod was definitely the cup holder for me. Haha Vectra rear cup holder fits awesome above radio. 😁

I prefer the balancing between my legs cup holder 😅😅 When you say above the radio, as in where the hazard, and lock button is?

@@jwmeale3058 Yes, I moved them to the bottom😁 I been doing the between the legs part for half a year until one morning 4am toward work felt like I couldn’t make it to the toilet as it was slipped out and went everywhere 😂 The Vectra cup holder even look like it was made to be there😂

Thank you so much, in 9 months I'll have my first car and I'm so excited to try so some easy modding to thank you again for helping out others know what you should do first, also one question, can you do all the mods on a regular clio? If I remember yours is a 182 so I wanted to know if I could do these mods on a basic clio since it's gonna be my car I'm not gonna spend lots of money on a precious car to ruin it, however I'd love to make a car like yours it's really fantastic what you have done, keep up the great work!!!!

No problem, thank you for watching! Yes just get stuck in, I still am very much an amateur but building up a little knowledge and loving it. Yeah you can do similar mods. All marks 2 are the same she’ll just different engines and all that! 🤩

Just bought a 2005 Clio Mk2 with just 30000miles in mint condition, no rust. Old lady owned it. I’d love to do some minor mods like lowering 35mm, black badge and maybe an open air filter? Any sites where I could buy the RS grille?

Bought some red exhaust mounts, but never fitted them,I thought they add to much stress and noise. Clio man Littlehampton recommended Ford Galaxy mounts.

Ah right! You should try them. The first “solid” mount I fitted. The standards are horrendous and it made no difference to noise imo! You should try them out 👍🏻

Jo, where do you buy youre parts. Like as an example the 2.0l 16v enginecover in black. Here in Germany its hard to find something like that. Keep it up, peace.
