As a parent of 40 year old kids I never once got me time. I got a bit of time after they went to bed. I got time while napping to clean house mow the grass and I am married. My time after the went to bed was to start laundry do dishes iron school uniforms. When they grew up I hated the empty house and so much me time.

Most moms only get me time when children go to bed or go to school. It is just part of motherhood. Lucky moms have a baby daddy who spends time with their child to give moms some me time. Enjoy your alone time.

@@1creekhunter I don’t think some females understand the difference between choosing a baby daddy or a father for our children. We can either choose to have children with males who behave like a baby daddy or we can choose to reproduce with men who participate like fathers. I chose a father for my children. We both parented our children and also understood that time with our individual friends was important to. Time for ourselves was also necessary. It really does matter who we decide to have children with. Seems like Issac is participating as a father and knows both of them still have a life beyond each other and Ember. If more people took the time for their own mental health then maybe, just maybe so many children wouldn’t be abused or worse. 😔

Getting some me time to rest, relax and clear the cobwebs is always good. We love our children but our entire lives don’t have to be about them. What a great spot to share with a wonderful friend. Recharge and when you get back home you will be refreshed and ready to take on some new family adventures. Great video!

I have a Coleman one burner butane stove & it has built in spring tension on the tank. I pop it out after I finish so it doesn’t have any possibility of a slow leak. My only complaint is the range of flame doesn’t go as low as I’d like but I am used to it now. I do carry a backup little one burner with one of those little green propane tank just in case there’s a stove failure. I’ve had to cook on the open fire with my three kids camping once because of a stove failure. It worked but that’s all it took to make me add a back up always lol. Nice chill time with Mindy to relax, recuperate & regroup for whatever life throws your direction next. Thanks for sharing 👍💕✌️

Hi Jaylena it's great that you were able to take a little break and having a gal-pal like Mindy would be a blessing. You two seemed to really enjoy your time together and that's important to have a little break every now and then. Mental and physical health is so important for us all and it's important to know when you need a break so that you don't allow anxiety to over build and cause deeper health issues that would cause you to not be at your best to take care of Ember, Yourself and even Issac since you are all still living together to make Ember's life the best it can be. You are both doing a great job and it's ok for each of you to take me time to reset and come back stronger for Ember and each other. Cool! It’s great to have a friend to camp with and she acts like she’s done quite a bit of camping! I’ve tried car camping, but didn’t have right type of bed so that was very uncomfortable. I’ve tried three times now finally got a blowup bed to go in the back when it cools off I’m going to give it another try I live in Southwest Florida so it’s very hot here, so probably not until October while I give it a try.

Get an insect curtain/door for side and back! Saw on another Sprinter conversion. I just can’t see Ember in the van for long drives. Stick with flying to your sister’s! Rent a car and just buy another car seat and leave in Texas. It’s 99 to 102 degrees here in Texas so you’re not missing much! Life as a Mom with a toddler is hard but it is what it is. If you need to shop or get out for 2 or 4 hours and Issac has plans too, just ask Debbie what day is good. Just that 1/2 a day every other week helps a lot! Go to a library and work on your book! Just stay focus on not getting too stressed and get heathy for you and things will workout. It’s all about the food and the amount of water we drink daily. I wish you could fit a King bed in your room and put a big long pillow between you and Ember. I didn’t get a good night’s rest for over 12 years. Always something with my daughter. Choose your top battles and teach Ember to stop crawling all over you at night or get her an IKEA bed and make her stay in it. Read up on ideas how to get her to sleep in a child’s bed! You have let her know that she has to sleep in her new bed!

Loved seeing Mindy and you hang out. Reminds me of when you would go to her place for dinners and just visit. I think it was the perfect time to have some time to experience the van on your own and you learned your stove not functioning and to bring a drying mat for dishes lol. But seriously you gave Isaac the precious gift of daddy daughter time alone together and I’m sure he’s loving it. Oregon is so beautiful the perfect place to enjoy the views and sounds of nature.
