Mike's game looks 10x better than recently. 1 thing i noticed is he needs figure out how to make his flat spot in his arm swing a little longer. Everytime the ball read early and went through the face, he jammed it into the lane. If he got it into the lane a little flatter, his ball easily sailed another 4-5 feet down the lane.

Anyways, I just had the same advice about adding a baby loft to my game at a house that hooks early and has free hook out there. Bowled my first 300 ever within 2 weeks of that advice 😅😅😅. For house shot and more rev rate, feels like a cheat code.

So I am new to bowling and just starting to learn what causes certain misses. For example I now understand what causes a wrap 10 (because the ball is coming in behind the headpin) but I don't know what causes a "stone 8". Brunsnick leaves a lot of 8 pins. I am not sure why because the ball looks like it is hitting the pocket perfectly. Is it because of deflection?

@@ObjectiveEthics To my knowledge, there is no proven reason why a stone 8 happens. Some people say it’s because the ball lost energy and didn’t have enough to go straight through the 8 pin, but what I say to that is I can almost guarantee you that nobody has ever made a move off of a shot that they left a solid 8 on. MAYBE, a ball change on a house shot if you’ve left multiple stone 8s, but even then very unlikely that someone would change or correct anything off of a solid 8. To me, a solid 8 means that you’re hitting the pocket at a very good angle, the ball is coming off the spot really well, and you executed a good shot. That’s how I view it.
