Hats off to you for working your first night shift w/ little warning. I worked nights as a tech thru nursing school so I got used to it but I know I had to mentally prep myself before I started so good for you for volunteering so last minute 😊

I love that green color scrubs! I wish we could wear green, at my job as a Nurse Intern we can wear pink or grey in any combo. I also do nights and full time nursing school, so I live off caffeine and need that badge reel!!! 💚🌵

I was on nights for 3 yrs and I do not miss it 😅 my dog was always my alarm clock and would only get 4 hrs of sleep after work and trying to sleep before going into work was always impossible lol

Self care is super important to learn now way before you even become a nurse so please don’t feel bad about saying no when they ask you to change your schedule. I’m only saying this please you talked about being unprepared a bunch so just say no sorry the next time they ask you.
