To say that you’re an inspiration (which I’m sure you hear all the time) is an understatement. I’m still not sure if I’m going the van or tiny house route, but I sure as shit know I’m getting out of this rut I’ve been stuck in most of my life, waiting for life to happen for me rather than building the life I want. Bravo for living your life on YOUR terms. I’m currently in Edmonton, but Vancouver seems like a nice place to set up shop. Living in a van seems like the only affordable way to do it. 🤣

Haha in my experience there have been more people jealous of me living in the back of my pickup than there are dicks about it. I LOVE it! Even tho I only have 24sq ft of living space it's the best and most free feeling in the world!

Chrome, I’ve just started bingewatching from the beginning. And I have something to say. I stumbled across your channel just about when you blew the tranny, so not very long ago but I kinda got invested in the story of you and Cruz and the van. And I am rooting for the van to get back on her feet (which is why I started the binge because I wanted to know where y’all came from. Glad to have already met Disco). So even though it probably isn’t rational and it may not be economically viable I’d still say: DON’T. Scrap. The. Van. That thing is home, *your* new beginning, and for some of your viewers it represents the hope for enough courage to do what you did. To start something new and TOTALLY awesome. You should add a 14"x14" roof vent with a fan. Mine works great for me especially when I run my Mr.Buddy heater, it allows me to vent unwanted heat out through the roof since the Mr. Buddy has no thermostat. I have a small 10 watt 12 volt solar panel on my roof that runs down to a Renogy solar charge controller I have mounted on the wall that runs to a small deepcycle motorcycle battery on the floor and I use that to run the fan on my roof vent, this way I can run my fan all I want and it is all self contained...

As well as rotisserie chicken that you debone. GSLL Scott does that a lot. Freezer ziplock quart size bags are a RVr’s best friend. Costco, Walmart and probably even the store you were shopping at might have the rotisserie chicken for around $5 USD (not sure what that equals to in CSD).
