It's a stretch, but the camera quality seems like very late 90's/early 2000's. I wonder if "The Truth Lies" could refer to the game being set around the 9/11 conspiracy, and the re-invasion of Iraq in search of WMDs that never existed. It fits considering early leaks suggested Gulf War or Iraq as a setting.

I'll write this straight from the heart, the political and psychological thriller mixed with first person action tropes from the original 2 Black Ops games did really leave an impact in me as a teen. A lot of content from those games are core memories. The campaign moves on to the canon' ending from Black Ops 2 in 2012. After the events of the deviant world group 'Cordie Die', Raul Menendez is actually executed by David Mason after which riots erupt in the US leaving tens of thousands police and US army troops as well as hundreds of thousands of civilians dead. With the second cold war coming to an end, the West faces new struggles as different groups try to seize power of the dominant positions of the world powers. History is written by the victor and will be told to the future generations as the truth while it is only the perspective of a single man.

XDefiant is being a threat to COD and Activision knows it, that's why the game's Twitch numbers are almost more than double than Warzone viewer numbers, for the release of "a random game that came out of nowhere and is a COD copycat". It was fun for me. Frustrating but definitely a good way to waste some time. For me, I can deal with the "movement gods" but I think aim assist and SBMM need to be tuned waaaaay down or removed. I disagree that this is Black Ops 6. Treyarch would have called it Black Ops V: Cold War instead of Black Ops: Cold War. Additionally, upon closer inspection of the uploaded image, BLACK OPS V is the only wording that corresponds with the text. Also in all other Treyarch Black Ops titles they have always used roman numerals and VI doesn't fit in the image also.

The teasers, “hype”, and interactive Easter egg stuff doesn’t really do anything for me anymore. I used to get excited but I’ve realized over the years that they make it as hype as possible for the marketing but then when the game releases it’s broken, full of crashes and bugs, sweaty as hell even in casual playlists, bloated with too many attachments and guns, and full of cheaters. I just can’t justify paying anymore for that type of product.
