Is this like a State Fair, except you do it in winter in the cold and rain, why not summer. Where are the rides, why are there so many kids if there is no rides. weird.

It's September, not exactly Winter, sure in June or July in Ireland the weather might be no different, Summer means nothing in Ireland as you know when it comes to weather, we have mostly Humid, Mild, Dark low Cloud and lots of rain all year around and fine weather for the ploughing is rare. It wasn't cold either for the ploughing.
