Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on May 4, 2017. It features Martin Weiss, who was born in Polana, Czechoslovakia in 1929. Marty and other family members were arrested and deported to the Munkacs ghetto and later to Auschwitz. Marty was liberated at Gunskirchen on May 5, 1945.
