Loved the video. Awesome. Sure wish you would do one on the stone twist you made on the drawn out 1/2 square point on your stories this week. I've tried couple of times. Failures. God Bless

Interesting to see the process through the eyes of the smith! The only thing is it was a little dizzying as you moved from station to station quickly? I think this maybe due to the fact that I'm sitting still and it looks like I'm moving about in your shop, all in all good video! Keep up the good work!

Super cool! I spy Mr Volcano!
@jeremyspeir3 жыл бұрын
My sentiment exactly! If by "Mr Volcano" you mean "Mr Vulcan" in Latin, who is the same guy as "Mr Tubal Cain" in Hebrew, I'd say you're 100% spot on

Quite a nice project! It really doesn't require much actual forging! I like it! I wish I had access to all the tooling you have but, being broke (On Social Security) and somewhat disabled, I don't have the money for ANY of what you have! Best wishes! I want to get one of those! I really like your induction forge! Is the electricity cost much higher than propane or coal? I realize we are talking apples and oranges but, it is a consideration. What's the cost to buy a decent one?

Thanks. I’ve been gathering this equipment for about 20 years. It’s certainly not necessary but it sure does help the business.
@kimcurtis4233 жыл бұрын
@@derekmelton Definitely! I'm mostly disabled and don't have the money for much tooling but, I still manage to get some small things like this done! I'm going to try it! WISH I had a fly press! THAT would uncomplicate a lot of things for me! I enjoyed the vid and hope to see more! Take care and stay safe!

Do you make your own copper blanks or do your purchase them?
@derekmelton Жыл бұрын
Both. I purchase blanks and when I run out I make my own from 1/8 sheet. It's gotten VERY expensive in the last year though.
