I’d love it if they would bring back cartridges again. They last forever, are easily repairable, and look super cool on the shelf. The only downside is that they are expensive to make. The switch has better graphics than the ps3 and 360 on that tiny card, I wonder what could be accomplished with a card the size of an nes cartridge.

disks and cartridge's aren't able to store a lot of full games on them. that's why with the Xbox one you had to download them even if you had a disk. its also way more convenient to have them digitally, you cant break a digital game and you cant lose them.

Cloud gaming works alright for games like Broken Age, Vampire Survivors.. simple one or two button games. Slow paced games, stuff like As Dusk Falls. I don't think it holds up on action games whatsoever.

i kinda like the white shell if the price is right and its got more storage with it being an all digital console its got to have alot of storage ! i would love to see a true mid gen refresh with newer cpu and gpu cores along with clock speed bumps would be awsome ! The biggest issue I find, when cloud gaming (as that's how I play most Game Pass games, so I save hard drive space), is that I get booted from the cloud server. I have really good internet, so if it happens for me, I can't imagine how bad it can get for others. Also, when it comes to Activision/Blizzard & Game Pass.... Microsoft has a great opportunity to flesh out their PC catalog with games like StarCraft 1 & 2 and WarCraft 2 & 3. Because right now those games aren't doing anything by just sitting on the sidelines.

Microsoft just needs to launch one console next gen and give it 4tb for the ssd and 64gb of shared ram, launch it at 550$, and make game pass 30$ a month. Also giving the studios they acquired the time and money to make great games.That would fix all the problems they are having.

Location matters so much with cloud gaming, and is still not a good option for enough people, but for the few, it is a game changer. Beyond this, Xbox is plagued by having too much money that fuels financial opportunities / returns, rather than ingenuity and the dedication to make awesome consoles / games. Too many of their employees don't feel safe or cared for, and like most industries, this produces false enthusiasm, where workers pretend to be excited but turn and curse their jobs. They know they can put all their time and efforts into a game or console, only to be overruled and forced to produce suboptimal products and immediately let go if some financial management board wants to decrease cost to look better to shareholders. The game development industry has been in such a wreck the past few years.

It would be the same price as it has a larger SSD and a better WiFi chipset which I am guessing would offset the cost of a disc drive. So for ppl with large digital libraries they may opt for this as opposed to the one with the disc drive. Different choices for different gamers.

Building a console is comparitive to a pc specs but isnt upgradeable and the cost is respective of available pc hardware then being customized the cost becomes a risky venture for recovering expenses,the units that sell lower the production cost due to mass industrialism manufacturing gaming hardware is becoming a niche aspect of tech hardware which limits entry into gaming longevity

It’s not a leak anytime you’re in litigation or criminal case anybody anything you submit unless the judge seals the case anything you submit becomes public domain hence the reason, corporations, fight, and fight and fight not to have certain things they’re doing public domain and they request certain documents because it has proprietary info in it. This would’ve been or should’ve been one of those if they didn’t want us to know their plans but it’s not a leak when you submit it and you haven’t gotten that protection. it’s now public domain meaning we own it. You submitted it to the court I have access to it right to see itto submit the request properly and the local jurisdiction because sometimes they try to avoid foil request, but ultimately those documents are mine
