Hermes is one of the most satisfying enemies to kill in the franchise. He's so annoying. Much like Heimdall in Ragnarök.

Great playing as always! You did great flying down the Chain of Balance. I saw lots of people commenting about the Darksiders games and they are fantastic as well. For those that want to play a game very much in the play style of GoW I would suggest Dante's Inferno. I played The Divine Edition, and I'm not sure if it is even available anymore. I have it on my PS3. It is based on The Divine Comedy and chronicles Dante's escape from the different layers of hell. It plays alot like the old GoW games for any interested. That studio only made 1 game, but I wish they would have finished with the trilogy, like the book. It is also very graphic, and probably not appropriate for kids either.

That great volcanic titan who crushed Helios is non other than "Perses" Himself. The titan god of destruction. His name literally means "the destroyer". & he's not Atlas, bc Atlas is a titan who made of stone, has 4 arms & way bigger. Not to mentione, way stronger. He's indeed the definition of strength! I won't go far if i say he's the strongest. Don't forget that it took two of the most powerful gods (Hades & Poseidon) to take him down in the great war. {perfidy} If Kratos brought him back here, winning will be easily, more than ever within reach. But the time travel Kratos made in the very Ending of GOW2 happens "after" he was kidnap, after he was defeated. Plus, i think he's holding the Earth rn. Or maybe they had another reason why they decided not to being him back. Time-travel is complicated... Go easy on yourself & try to not think about it. Lol great video as always, Julia. 💯

Atlas is the strongest of the titans, but he is only slightly stronger than Cronos, who Hades overpowered easily, so tbh Hades could defeat Atlas alone. The gods are far more powerful than the titans.

Kratos in this game is basically the most villainous protagonist that exists in a video game. Rage filled nut essentially hellbent on what he calls revenge at the expense of everything else. Great character though.

I love the word play with killing Hermes. Hermes: Today you may *defeat* me... Right when Hermes says "defeat" Kratos looks down at Hermes' feet. Then to kill Hermes Kratos cuts his legs off. Literally "de-feet-ing" Hermes. Hermes accidentally gave Kratos the idea on how best to kill him.

She didn’t struggle at all chains of balance. I was waiting and anticipating the fails, lol. I played GOW 3 first time on ps3 about 3 years ago and chains of balance seemed faster and less responsive…and I had to remember the pattern of obstacles after many fails instead of reacting so I wasn’t late on moves, lol.

I never noticed the taunting arm wave Hermes does at Kratos. Cheeky bastard... I'm almost sad he had to die, certainly more so than Heimdall. Fun fact: Helios is actually a Titan (probably around Zeus' age at least), and not an Olympian, so technically, he's sort of a "race traitor" (and a turncoat), if you will. And, Eos is Helios' fine sister, and I get the feeling Helios probably wouldn't have tried to worm his out of his death (his debt with Kratos), if we slept with her.
