Premium price ang pms for a premium bike Sir JT. Almost same price ng pms sa 1200gsa ko for regular pms but for major pms baka umabot ng atleast 15k ang estimate sa pag replace ng air filter, sparkplug, brake pads and all fluids. Parts din is no joke and minsan matagal dumating since galing pa Germany ung parts and also ung cost ng parts malaki tulad nung isa namin na 1200gsa had to replace the center shock due to leak and replacement lang option and ung shock palang is 100k na not including the cost for the leaks forks pero inabot ng 80k km bago naman nag leak which is sulit na sulit. Matibay na Euro bike brand ang BMW and if you have the budget it's worth the cost to own one and in my case 2 pa. Ride safe Sir JT!

Mura pa rin ang service sa pinas. Yearly service just for oil, filter and labor nang honda NC750X ko sa dealer cost 10k in pesos. Wala kang choice dapat at least one yearly service sa dealer to have the 5 yrs warranty to be valid.

Sulit na rin yung 5k odo till next service sa halagang 8k. Parang mas nakatipid ka pa ata. And what do you expect in BMW diba? Its a premium bike, a German brand means the engine can last long than most of the other bikes 👍👍👍 Opinion ko lang po at wala po akong motor 😂😅 but if you invest to premium bikes, you get what you pay for 💯👌

I've had BMW and DUCATI bikes before and they are just great but not perfect and have their problems..To get servicing done or fix any issues is going to cost you alot plus the cost of parts to do it yourself MY GOD...So now this is why I'm riding my new Kawasaki Versys 1000cc Japanese Adventure bike instead and dont have any of these problems anymore..I couldn't be more happier..I am NOT against these beautiful bikes..I still love them..but I cannot accept dealers who try to financially benefit in a huge way from people that ride these exotic machines..that's it.

We had a riding buddy before who complained a lot about his Z650, getting parts after months of waiting, having problems with certain parts etc. I think, in general, big bikes, regardless of brand, can't be compared to our daily smaller displacements bikes in terms of maintenance cost and parts availability. 😉

@@MoTourPilipinas Need to get your Japanese bike parts from here in Australia..We have many many wreckers and dealers who have parts from 1960s bikes till now even NEW OLD STOCK..Jap bikes are the most common affordable bike here but European and American exotic machines like Harley..then you have to pay.

Ang basis po kase ay sa docs natin, so as long as 400cc ang naka reflect, pwede po yan. Merong mga 373cc pero rounded off na sa 400.

Expect mo na ang daan is service roads or national roads. Syempre madami pedestrian, intersections and traffic lights. Makakapunta ka naman sa pupuntahan mo pero tulad ng nabanggit ni sir need mo ng ample time and patience para makarating at the end of the day if hindi ka pa sanay mag motor I suggest start from a small displacement motorcycle para masanay ka lang sa feeling pero kung may budget why not go to higher displacement pero dapat may training ka para iwas disgrasya and gulatan. Ride safe!

Kung madalas talaga kayo gagamit ng expressway sa mga pupuntahan nyo, mas mabuti na po na 400cc and up na angkuhanin nyo. If hindi naman or sa ngayon kulang pa budget, pwede naman smaller displacement muna.

Nice blog sir, just want to say, that i really don't understand why the bmw bikes in the Philippines is way too pricey, compare here in Australia, and the PMS mileage is every 5th kms? They do every 10th kms here. I like the kind of service they give there though! They even wash your bike for you. Safe riding sir!

Buti na lang wala sa radar ko tong BMW. Mamumulubi kala sa pms. Yaks... Ok na ako sa cfmoto gt650 ko. 1000 km pms ko nsa 3k php lang. Free labor, oil and oil filter lang ang bibilin. Hahaha. Hirap talaga pag middle class living ka lang. Kayod ng kayod kulang parin. RS guys...

P8,000 plus ang PMS bill, for first 1,000km, mas mahal pa sa Hyundai Kona ko, he he. Btw for my car the first 1,000 labor is free, you only pay around P2,000 for the oil. And for my 10k PMS, P6,000+ because I ask for fully synthetic oil. Maybe it's the brand.. he he. - Slider
