What's a decent price and condition
@tomrichards62074 жыл бұрын
@@dragonslair59 This car in Colorado would be $10-$15,000. Rusted heaps with no or blown engines and transmissions are going for $7-10k. I'm currently working on four second generation Firebirds. 1976 455 four speed, 1978 Formula 350, 1981 four speed Esprit,and 1981 Turbo TA. All four for $4600 total. Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time. Obviously there all project cars. The 76 did at least run and drive when I got it. Getting harder to come by.

I had a buddy with a dark green Gen II that would sneak up with headlights off at night in front of my parents house . I would be sleeping peacefully inside until I heard his carb wide open,screaming RPM’s & tires, and get to the window just in time to see those little round taillights faintly glowing through the cloud of rubber & the crackle of his exhaust as he backed off a little bit for the sharp curve on the way out of our neighborhood. I loved the look of that body style and I enjoyed co-piloting in it with him although he ALWAYS drove it “to the edge of sanity “. I later got a Buick Gran Sport and paid my buddy back WITH interest on all “repaving” in rubber he did in front of our house! Lol Sounds like someone added a nice cam in your too! Really enjoyed watching you clean through the decades of grunge, I know I would be happy driving that ole girl just the way you have her at this point in your videos,beautiful car. I did a people search under my buddies name last month since no one knew where he was now (I am 57 now so been a long time since a teenager taking turns burning rubber at parents houses). I was so excited to see his name come up in the search with the same address I use to boil them down in front of but got stopped dead in my tracks right there before looking for current in “Deceased 18 years old”. Still makes my heart drop but the times in that Gen II raising hell with my buddy before we went our different ways, those were times that still bring a grin to my old face. R.I.P. Winters(!) Keep up the great work on your car, very fortunate to find one still that nice AND a 4-speed? YES!✌🏼😎💨💨💨💨

Love the 60s to early 70s GM products i own a 70 sschevelle with the build sheet it's a factory 2 tone paint car. the code is 25-10. I ran into a problem once where I live because of historical plates. The Officer could not find my car on the regular DMV site luckily I had all my paperwork and he didn't tow my car. Turns out there is a separate site in the DMV just for historical plates. He was new on the force but smart enough to know that he may have been missing something his self even though his supervisor told him that he should have the car towed. He sent me on my way because my paperwork was correct and he couldn't justify to him self to have it towed

I was in my early twenties when this car was new .My brother had a 350 in a 73 intermediate Pontiac LeMans. We lived in Chgo and the Chgo area .He drove it like a granny. All he could get was nine miles per gallon. These Camaros were beautiful but frankly I wanted a bench seat at the time. The car looks remarkably solid and this color is at least as nice as the original darker shade of brown that it was. You also did magic on those seats .I would enjoy visiting Nickey Chevrolet ( a famous high performance Chevrolet dealer )in Chicago on Irving Park Rd. About fifteen minutes away was Mr.Norms Grand Spaulding Dodge .Take a trip to the Chgo area I need help on my 62 Ford Fairlane 500.I will get you great Chgo food specialties.
