When Madison Kocian happily exclaimed "Senior Year!" at the end of the vid, who could have predicted what was to come of this season. Peng Peng Li was a great gymnast,and overcame serious injuries.I have great respect for her as a person,and an athlete. UCLA is not the same without her.I wish she got her work permit in the United States,since she is a Canadian citizen.She could have been a wonderful assistant coach on the UCLA Women's gymnastics team.I will always admire her.l know Peng Peng Li left in 2018,but I miss her so much on the UCLA Women's gymnastics team.

I love this team; its my favorite but after the first meet I’m sure they were let down as much as i was watching beam; they came in last. I’m sure they all feel the need to get that event practice in or reign in the nerves. I’m sure they’ll do better next week.

Heather Wicker Kristina is a former UCLA All American. Dom used to coach at UCLA as a volunteer, and BJ is a pro dancer/choreographer.

Coach Randy leaving (or getting laid off?) is a mystery to me too. I really miss him! Hope he'll come back someday. I do think Waller was the right pick for head coach tho. in elite gymnastics yes, because of everything with Nassar in 2018 however this is NCAA and Waller used to be a gymnast and has been with the team for something like 18 years

@@lnisme0295 True, however, It's not just Nassar who was a problem though. USAG also showed a lack of care when they didn't keep coaches who had previous cases of misconduct from just starting afresh at a new gym. So it was happening at a club level as well, the whole thing was just rotten. I just have this overall distrust of men teaching girls in sports because, as a former college athlete myself, I've seen it go wrong so many times that it's stuck in my mind. This coach hasn't done anything wrong I get that and my post really wasn't about him. I just can't seem to find it in myself to think it's okay to continue to feel at peace with it. Lol I sound so conservative it's funny
