The down the horn view is great! Really helps seeing how to properly use the horn!

How much does it cost to shoe a horse and how often does it need to be done? Want to get a horse and want to know what the expenses are. I live in Washington State and would like to know the average cost for shoeing.

I’m guessing average price around Washington state is $250 a shoeing and regular shoeing should be done every 6 weeks. And that’s for a horse with no complications and straight forward shoeing and good manners.

7:40 Is it compulsory that your 2 man forging partner wears an athletic cup in that class? , if it's not it should be.

Is that when it flung out my tongs? Safety glasses and nut cup needed this class 😂

@@USAfarrier-pnwfarriershow It's a good way to keep your forging partners mind on the entire competition actually. Instead of having him feeling good about the work you've both done on day 1 & he decides to go out to a bar drinking beers & chasing women , he'll instead spend the evening icing his bean bag getting the swelling out of his coin purse in his hotel room to be ready for day 2. LOL
