Good Morning. Me again. Today's second match, I'm 1 down on the 8th. hole, and my opponent putts in for eagle. I have an easy putt for eagle to tie the hole. Before I get to putt, match is over, and opponent wins. WT!!!

I'm curious: why do folks want to exclude PCs? Is it because PC players can use the mouse and slide it along a ruler for perfect swing planes every time? I honestly wouldn't blame console players if that's the case. Back in the Links days with Real-Time Swing mode, we had "edgers" galore. They still couldn't beat the 3-clickers, but that was because 3-click was far too easy even on champ/elite.

That and just overall ease at modding. You can do it all on console as well but PC is easier to get into. So, some like to just remove that out.

Played 2 matches...1v1. I played someone on the same system in the first match, and then played someone cross play on the second. All worked fine! Exciting times!

I was only able to play one game in crossplay. I did get the win. Afterward I was ranked 700+. Checked again this morning, I had dropped all the way to 2100+

I am trying to play cross platform on PS4 but am unable to turn on in settings. It’s on the settings list but is greyed out and am unable to turn on. Is anyone else having this issue? It’s pretty annoying and can’t find any answers…

They should add pre set comments u can say. Like nice shot, tough break, good putt. That way I don't have to have my mic on but could still interact sometimes with my opponent. I think that would be nice touch.

Sorry folks but same old shyt - if a player disconnects during the game on purpose (they are losing and just turn off their system or power off) you still DO NOT GET A WIN - game just doesn't count. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME - 1 up, 2 up - ok, got this one in the bag - NOPE - other person just disconnects and u play 25 minutes for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If they quit WITHIN the main menu then u DO get the win - BUT most people just disconnect to be haters so you can't get a win. Must have happened to me around 9 times already - up comfortably other player just disconnects, powers off. WASTE OF TIME

You don't get the win, but your rating goes up. Rating is all that matters, wins and losses do not. And if that isn't happening for you, then that is a bug. I have had 5 people quit, and each time, my rating goes up. Edit: just saw your other reply. No idea what you are talking about. I've always got point from every disconnect. If you are not, send a bug report.

Just played my first match afte the update in the ranked leaderboard. As said you asked about a quitter situation, well that happened on my first game and guess what??, it awarded me the points after this guy quit on the 1st hole, so all is good.

@@MicksPlace64 If they quit within the menu option then yes u get the win - if they just disconnect or power off as soooooooooooo many losers do - then u get NOTHING and just wasted 25 minutes playing the stupid game. People with great records just disconnect when they are losing so they don't get a loss. MAKES NO SENSE

Interesting first match which I lost 1 down. On one hole, my opponent was on the green in 3 and proceeded to chip in the hole from about 20 feet away, while on the green. His score is a 4. I putted in from about 8 feet away for birdie, and yet, we halved the hole. Go figure.

Xbox is on by default, you can't turn it off. I am guessing because of player numbers on the platform.

That is up to you. I think ranked being in the game, along with cross play, completes the game out and is worth more than 20 bucks. But in the end, it is your money, and only you can decide what is worth your money.

I don't know which setting it is. But there is a setting in the HUD options that just turns off the power meter.
