Sounds like you’re talking about Big Shot which has Billy’s current guitarist, Tommy Byrnes and the lead singer, Mike Delguidice is now Billy’s background singer and acoustic guitarist. The Lords of 52nd Street also performs in the NY area. They contain 3 musicians who were with Billy during part of his recording years, Russell Javors on guitar, Richie Cannata on sax and Liberty Devitto who was with him for 30 years on drums. Billy is my all time favorite. I’ve seen him 5 times this past year. He still gives a great concert at 73. The man is amazing. Would love to hear you react to more Billy Joel. Scenes from an Italian Restaurant is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything by Billy.
