FIRST REACTION to Ad Infinitum - Unstoppable

Melissa Bonny. Yes, she also does the harsh growls, she's great at both. She's originally from Switzerland, but lives in Denmark these days. In addition to this band, she was in Rage of Light on their first album, but decided she was in too many bands at once. There's the Dark Side of the Moon project, and she's made guest appearances in many other bands, like War Kings, Feuerschwanz, and recently a Powerwolf song. Other Ad Infinitum songs that I'd recommend include 'Marching on Versailles', 'See You In Hell', 'I Am the Storm', 'Fire and Ice', 'Afterlife', and perhaps 'Upside Down' from their upcoming 3rd album.

I just noticed that you had heard a bit of Melissa before. You reacted to Feuerschwanz 7 months ago when they covered ‘Warriors of the World United’, and she was one of the 5 singers, the only woman.

I saw Ad Infinitum live in Oberhausen 4th November. I was there for Beyond the Black and Amaranthe, Ad Infinitum was one of the support Bands. I´m happy that I discovered them that way. They are now on my list for upcoming Liveshows.

I love this band! Saw them live recently and they were amazing, and Melissa is such a humble, funny and kind person! I also love that your thoughts are written on the screen. I don’t mind when reactors pause, but this different approach is great since it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the song.

It's definitely her. You should watch Dark Side of the Moon, Jenny of Oldstones. That's one of Melissa's other projects and she has some great growls in that song.

I'm so glad you checked out Ad Infinitum! This is an absolute banger, so energizing. They don't have a bad song IMO, but my favs are this one and Son of Wallachia. You've actually heard Melissa sing before on FEUERSCHWANZ - Warriors of The World but this is her own band and well worth checking out more! My recommendations would be Marching on Versailles and Afterlife next :)

As for Melissa, and don't know if you realize it, but you already did a reaction to a guest appearance of her with Feuerschwanz in "Warriers of the World". She actually seems to have a good connection with Feuerschwanz as beside having done a couple of gues appearances with Feuerschwanz, the project "Dark Side of the Moon" is also with 2 members form Feuerschwanz.

Ad Infinitum is great! Glad you liked them. Both of their albums are quite good. The first place I heard Melissa was quite a few years ago now, when she was with "Rage of Light" doing fun metal covers of pop music. Their cover of Aqua's "Lollipop" is a favourite. You'd probably like Rage of Light's original stuff, as well, and their new singer, Martyna, is also very good. They are also still doing covers and recently did a nice version of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" when it all the rage not long ago.

Oh yes, Melissa Bonny is AMAZING. And yes, she sings the growls herself. Try the duet with Nils Molin (Dynazty+Amaranthe) called AFTERLIFE. goosebumps song. Otherwise I can recommend Beyond the Black - Winter is Coming and The Warning - Animosity, Evolve or Martirio (Martirio in spanish)! The Warning are my highlight this year, because I didn't even know them until recently! Awesome rock band with 3 joung Sisters from Mexico! Have a nice day and congratulations on 100k followers

This is serious Swiss quality… very similar to Within Temptation musically…that’s a major plus point. I can imagine this band being visually stunning live. I look forward to hearing more from this band. Melissa Bonny is the singer..Swiss born and clearly a lady of some talent. Another great reaction and a clear appreciation of some quality.

She is just such a sweet and funny person 🥰 Oh and yes, she can also growl, i think in the chorus it was also just a second track with her own voice. But thankfully she doesn't over-use growls anymore. In her old band "Rage of Light" it was too much for me. Here its perfect to just put some extra dramatic elements in without beeing annoying. And i also always really like the style how she moves. Beside her voice, good looks, great songs that just another element that makes them for me the best band i discovered in the last 5 years, together with Lovebites.

Try some music by YES one of the greatest progressive rock groups of all time and my favorite band. You haven't reacted to them at all. They have many long songs that are masterpieces. Not your usual music. Some good ones include "Roundabout", "Close to the Edge", "The Gates of Delirium". "Awaken", "Turn of the Century"... Loads of good ones.
