This was a great reaction! So great to see a reactor from Angelina's home country. I consider it my heritage. My father was pure Norwegian as well as my grandparents who came here to Minnesota. We have the greatest population of Norwegians I believe in the US. I'm half Norwegian. The other half German another popular heritage here in Minnesota. I used to listen to my grandparents speak Norwegian all the time. My Grandparents as far as I know came directly from Norway and bought our family farm near where I now live in Alexandria, Home of the Kensington Runestone discovered within 20 miles of here. A Relic that suggests the Vikings were the first to discover America long before Columbus and made it as far inland as here in Minnesota. I discovered Angelina a little over a year ago and was completely blown away. I loved her immediately and was more than a little bit proud of her and part of my heritage. Since then I've listened, watched and read everything ( I've heard all of her library, some of it 100s of times) I could find on this young phenomenal human being and Vocal Artist. I'm 67 years old and Angelina is the best singer I have ever heard. She will go down in Music History as one of the Best Ever. The true GOAT in my opinion. Today, January 10, 2022, is her 16th birthday. One of my favorite videos of her is I'm Still Holding Out For You. Three of the covers she's done of Adele is Million Years Ago, All I Ask, and Easy on Me. The Beatle's song Yesterday is lovely, as is Billie Jean, which she really jazzes up. She always respects the songwriter and the original singer of any song she covers. I also love 7th Heaven which is one of her most recent originals .. quite jazzy and positive.

Angelina, to me, is like a Siren from Greek mythology who's songs drew in sailors onto the rocks. Her song draws you in and captures your heart and soul...you are oblivious to all else while she sings. However, instead of being dashed onto the rocks, you are embraced in the warmth of her voice. Beyond all of her tremendous skill and flawless voice, it is the emotional connection that she has with every song and every listener. She brings you in to listen to every word and every inflection. Nice to see a Norwegian reacting to their national treasure. I'm Australian, and since discovering Angelina, have been interested in visiting Norway, hoping to coincide with one of the concerts she had planned for 2020. But the pandemic put an end to that... Truly amazing. I noticed that she’s sitting down while singing. This position compresses the diaphragm which makes breathing more difficult. It doesn’t seem to bother her.

Great reaction! The Norwegians should be very proud of her! I'm not religious at all, but she makes me believe in angels! You are right about her emotional connection with the song. Here it really feels as if she sings directly to you, right in your ear. And it's like the sky opens up! (for me) By the way, the cover page shows only a couple of her covers. I've just been watching her randomly on youtube and on television programs. BUT now, i'm in my shorts and about to dive in!! @@didymalgia No need to feel disappointed! Many times child prodigies are mayflies. And many people can't wrap their head around her looking like the most innocent child, singing with such a mature voice, about such mature matters in such a mature musical and expressive way! But most of the listeners that pick up her sincerity soon get addicted and take her singing as a huge comfort or (sometimes daily) inspiration! You'll be surprised how many diehard fans she has! Which she lovingly calls her Angels. They all love her musical journey!

Hi Didy. A very fine show today. When a person listens to Angelina, it permits new neural networks to be created and forever one is captured by her talent. Short of a lobotomy, I suspect that I will always hold her to be the greatest female artist of all time. I am so pleased that you are now on this journey.

Jeg er 100% sikker på at hun kommer til å bli anerkjent som The Goat før hun er ferdig som artist, du kommer til å forstå hvorfor. Jeg er en av dem som har fulgt Angelina TETT helt siden hun vant Norske Talenter og jeg tror mer eller mindre med hånda på hjertet at jeg kan si at jeg har hørt på henne hver eneste dag. Det siste året har jeg lagt ned ENORMT arbeid med å få henne sett og hørt, blant annet gjennom kanaler som denne. Jeg vet at du ikke er supergodt kjent med det hun har gjort SÅ langt, så du har vanvittig mange fine opplevelser foran deg. Angelina ble signet av Republic Records for et år siden og er RRs "highest priority new artist". Det sier endel når man kikker litt på artiststallen til Republic. Jeg skal ikke skravle altfor mye her nå, for jeg ser at du kar gjort ihvertfall to reaksjoner til av henne, som jeg gleder meg til å se. Jeg har subbet, så du kommer til å se meg gi deg en kommentar på alt sammen, i det minste for å hjelpe deg med algoritmen. Jeg kommer til å skrive på engelsk heretter, slik at forslag osv kan forstås av flest mulig. @@didymalgia Ja, det stemmer nok. Familien hennes er jo managementet hennes, og jeg vet med sikkerhet at dette er en stor del av grunnen til at vi ikke hører mer av henne. De vil at hun skal få en så normal oppvekst som mulig, og gi henne tid til å fullføre skole. Dette er noe de forsatt står sterkt ved, selv etter at de flyttet til L.A. og ble signert av Republic. Det har vært et enormt press av interessenter, SVÆRE selskaper sånn som Disney, men alle har fått nei, helt til de takket ja til Republic Records. RR har en ganske god tradisjon på å la artister få dyrke sitt særpreg, og å la dem få ro til å lage kunsten sin. Sånn sett er jeg ekstremt glad for at de også sa nei til Simon Cowell på AGT The Champions. Han har, sånn jeg ser det, ødelagt svært mange artister ved å gjøre dem til pengemaskiner. Det er jo et vanvittig stort hav, en svært grå masse, av artister der ute som høres KLIN likt ut. De hørtes garantert ikke sånn ut da de startet. Det er trist, men også forståelig. Selskapene er jo tross alt først og fremst ute etter penger. Balansegangen kvalitet/kvantitet ser det ut som de gir mest blaffen i. Bruk-og-kast-mentaliteten i bransjen er nok rimelig tøff for mange artister. Men som sagt, Republic har en veldig mye bedre kultur på dette. Se bare på artistene de har i stallen sin. Det sier det meste. Vi snakkes :-)

@@poolhallshark enig i det du sier at hun etterhvert har gått litt i "glemmeboka" her i Norge. Har vært på 2 konserter, den ene på Akershus med den uforglemmelige "man's world", ok med publikum. Den andre konserten var den siste konserten hennes på Prøysenhuset. Det tror jeg vi faktisk ikke var mer en toppen 150 stk tilstede, hvis så mange. Da var det faktisk en stor andel folk som kom fra utlandet, som f.eks Boris fra Russland, 2 argentinske damer og noen amerikanere.

Heisann! Jeg har hørt på Angelina hver eneste dag i et helt år. Hun er nok den beste sangeren jeg vet om. Hun har akkurat fylt 16 år.

Hun er på et nivå helt for seg selv og blir nok bare bedre og bedre over tid. På 16års dagen hennes så hadde jeg 6 eller 7 reaksjonsvideoer som endte med den fantastiske " I put a spell on you"

You're surprised to find about 30 covers on her CoverChannel? OMG, you have *no* idea… [grin] Others have already pointed out that she's sung well over 100 songs (my own count has passed 170), but I didn't see anyone "breaking the news" to you that there are literally _several hundred_ videos out there with "original AJ content" (i.e., not counting all the videos that reuse existing footage of her or, say, multiple videos of the same live concert performance shot from different perspectives). Not all of it is reaction-worthy, of course… but a suprisingly large percentage actually is (IMO… of course, "your mileage may vary"). The deepest single well of original AJ content is the Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz channel, which was created in 2019 by her family as an outlet for all the hundreds of videos of her that they had shot over the years. It currently contains over 330 videos (*) of all sorts: mostly from rehearsals, live concerts, studio recording sessions, and "KZbin covers" shot "live at home" (of the kind found on her CoverChannel). It also includes some raw "practice sessions" where she's playing the piano and singing, "slideshow videos" for recordings that otherwise exist only as audio, and behind-the-scenes/backstage footage from TV appearances, charity events, etc. It even includes some "home movies" of everyday life with her family and friends, going back to when she was 3. It's truly "an embarassment of riches"… (Unfortunately, the somewhat haphazard order in which the videos were uploaded and frustrating lack of information in many of the video titles [and all of the video descriptions] make it very difficult to find anything you might specifically be looking for. Oh, well… beggars can't be choosers, right?) * To more specific: 339 videos, but one is currently blocked (her "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" performance from _America's Got Talent: The Champions_ , which is easy to find elsewhere), and four of them are accidental reposts of videos already uploaded to the channel.

How is Aurora received in Norway? She has a very unique style. Not my taste, but it is unique. This rendition was very good, but why didn't they restart, when she forgot the beginning. The correct intro starts, 'Wise men say'. I heard something like 'Wise when say'. Other than that. It was a great rendition. Somehow she reminded me of Audrey Hepburn, when she sang 'Moon River.' It isn't how they sang technically, it's how they communicated the feeling. You said it right, "She not only sings words, she sings feelings, as well" Keep it going. You're on point.

Aurora is a very big name in Norway, she's been doing her thing since she was around 16 (think she's 24 now). She is by far one of the very best songwriters/makers in the world. Yes she has her uniqe style, but if you hear 10 songs of her then 8 will never be the same as the others... You think she only makes one type of music, no she makes every type of music. Beeing at a concert with Aurora is an absolutely mezmerizing experience, SHE IS THE MUSIC, her entire body and her voice is locked together as one singel entity.. And you can clearly see her entering her world and you can also see when she leaves it. But that's me on Aurora... Thank you for your thoughts Aloha 808
