That said, I think they do somewhat look to Sua, as both the eldest sister, and the one with probably the most experience (she was a trainee since 2009, and has both learned a lot, and made many connections over the years), and I'm pretty sure they've even actually _referred_ to her as their leader once or twice. But certainly officially, no leader. There doesn't seem to be that much hierarchy in the group, either. While younger members do refer to their elders as "unnie", as you'd expect, I recall Sua mentioning that she treats Suhyeon and Haram as same-age friends (Suhyeon was born four months later than Sua, but the following year; Haram is a whole year younger again than Suhyeon). 4:25 Here there are six members. *Sheon* (who participated in Girl's Planet 999 under her real name, Kim Suyeon, and came within a whisker of debuting in Kep1er) joined the group 9 days after they debuted, so she's not here. Her first official comeback was their Christmas single, Snowy Night. 6:55 *Moon Sua's* the one with the shorter dark hair and husky voice, as you probably figured out. She's a main rapper and lead vocal in Billlie. 7:00 The vocal harmonies were the first thing that _really_ sold me on them... and it's not just one or two members doing most of the backing, they actually do this stuff live and you can _see_ it in glorious action. 7:15 The blue-haired girl is Kim *Suhyeon,* a main vocal, and also lead dancer. 8:10 Other main vocal Kim *Haram* is leading here. 9:40 Main dancer Fukotomi *Tsuki,* who interestingly was a lead vocal in J-pop group Magicour before settling in Korea... 10:35 They _do_ have a storyline, and Sheon _will_ be added in it. But not until Eunoia. 😜 (I mean, she's _in_ it before Eunoia, but in the sense that she's _already there._ She actually _joins_ them in Eunoia, which partially serves as a prequel.) 10:50 The group name _is_ significant, but not the seven letters; at this point there was still a very good chance that Sheon would be in Kep1er for a couple of years, and by my understanding they decided to add her _after_ she was eliminated, to capitalise on the popularity she'd garnered in the show. But no, the name can also be viewed as *Bi + 11 + lie,* which ties to the lore. As best I understand it, on the 11th day (of summer, or of the last month of summer; I think I recall there's some confusion on that), the girls planned to do a ritual with their friend Billlie Love, but for reasons known to themselves, none of our girls showed up. Billlie performed the ritual by herself, purple rain fell, a bell chimed 11 times, and Billlie was never seen again. Our girls lied that they knew anything about Billlie's whereabouts or actions, and kept up the lie so well (though that may not be the _only_ reason), they eventually pretty much forgot she ever existed. But years later, they've remembered again... and now they're resolved to try and find her, in whatever _strange world_ she may have wound up. So "Bi" (비) is Korean for "rain" (of the purple variety). 11 relates to the 11th day, and the 11 peals of the bell. And "lie" refers to the lies the girls told about what they knew. Ring X Ring was a very divisive debut, to be sure. The discordancy and almost patchwork arrangement of the song's parts could have been an unmitigated _disaster_ in someone else's hands, but in my book, it's a work of insane _genius._ Of course, not everyone agrees with me that it worked out _well._ 😜 12:30 BINGO! Ring ma Bell is _not_ their first comeback, for the record, but order doesn't really matter. They have _very_ storyline, and while you can easily just enjoy the music without it, it really does add an extra layer that's worth investigating. I love this comment so much because I love seeing people who are as big of a Belllie’ve as me! And yes I can’t remember what interview it was but they did refer to Sua as their leader at one point! It threw me off because of course they’ve stated that they have no leader and that “any one can lead” in the group.

@@odgykins Oh, when they grabbed me, they grabbed me _hard._ Within a month of falling, I had all their physical albums and was a fully paid-up official Belllie've (now I also have the membership card and lightstick). Yeah, I _think_ I quite like 'em. 😉 Honestly, on the leader front, I tend to think they have no leader, and _Sua_ doesn't think of herself as leader, but the others (especially the younger members) respect her so much that they _do_ think of her as leader. I may be wrong, but I can't help feeling that Siyoon especially kind of idolises her... 🥰

they dont have a leader indeed! they said they like to communicate a lot and so everyone can take charge and share their thoughts openly. i think that also kind of takes the pressure off of a single person's shoulders but the oldest members sua and suhyeon can be seen taking this role of kind of a guide more often in their other contents. also they have 3 more MVs: snowy night (unpromoted single), patbingsu (a special unpromoted single that was actually a remake of a famous yoon jongshin song) and gingamingayo japanese version (which imo is even better than the korean version)! they have a story / lore that all of their music revolves around and they have short films almost every comeback and in those we can see their acting skills a little bit. billlie love is the name of the main character in their lore and she's often represented by a little girl but it can also be a metaphor for something we lost/ we're searching for (their lore is a little bit complicated but very interesting) thanks for checking them out!

About Billlie love, Billlie love is a childhood friend oh The Billlie members that went missing in Ring x Ring they went to Billlie love's house to look for her and clues in Ring my bell they went to their old abandoned school where they use to Play with Billie when they where all young but the school ended up breaking down and for Eunoia we still haven't gotten the lore for that one yet I understand gingamingayo's lore but at the same time it's so complicated to explain 😭 Oh and the reason why theres 3 L's is to stand for 11 the bell rings 11 times they have videos on their lore and some people put eng subtitles their lore would be easier to understand when u watch them The storyline is very interesting and confusing at the same time you should try to react to that. And another thing the Cake in Gingamingayo has 11

Even if K.Flex is happening it's not sure if we will see the original lineup... They deleted Billlie on their website and their initial announcement even before they announced the rescheduled date. Oneus apparently won't come either (that one's really breaking my ToMoon heart) and people are even speculating about Kep1er not coming since they say the festival isn't listed in Kep1er's schedule... It's such a mess and of course we don't get answers by K.Flex. Was excited for Billlie, too. I'm not sure how they will save this festival but I'm still so excited to go because not that many groups I listen to include Europe/Germany in their tours so me going to K-Pop concerts is rare. This festival was supposed to be such a good opportunity to see many groups at once probably including quite a few who don't tour Europe.

I'm still waiting to see Billlie live as well; they were supposed to be at London's MiK Festival (which actually _was_ held), but had to cancel last minute because Suhyeon and Siyoon got the covids. 😢 Still saw the likes of Pentagon, Red Velvet, Chung Ha and Cherry Bullet, so all was not lost, but I was really looking forward to checking out Billlie; I didn't actually go full Belllie've till November (appropriately), but I guarantee if I'd seen them live, I'd have fallen months earlier.
