For people that are still questioning the units that they signed up for especially Tae’s. JK and Jimin are in the same unit as Jin. The Frontliners . (I think JHope too) , Suga is doing office work because of his surgery but will still go through basic training . not clear to me where RM is going to be after. Tae as was announced everywhere is joining the Special Missions Unit. To join the Special Missions unit (just look and search and you’ll find an article somewhere , but it says that this unit is usually the ones that serves as the LAST defense of South Korea that’s why they work under the President in the Capital Defense Command) . Taehyung’s unit in particular is the SDT, elite counter-terrorism unit "Special Task Force of the Capital Defense Command" . The US equivalent to it are the same unit that killed Osama Bin Laden . Special Missions Unit (SMU) are used, particularly in the United States, to describe some highly secretive and elite military special operations forces. Tae met all the requirements that’s why he got accepted .( there are some crazy ppl on twitter saying that he got in because he’s related to some high government official. Seriously? Then why didn’t he get out of service then? Keep in mind, no unit is more or less dangerous than others. It’s the MILITARY! ALL units are dangerous!). .The only reason that a lot of ppl think JK said “he wants to join too but he can’t “ is if he didn’t pass the written test . One has to meet certain requirements both for physical and mental. Yes. Knowing JK that would be something that he’ll sign up for. No doubt that he would’ve killed the physical part but perhaps it’s the written test part, that prevented him from being able to join. Not what shippers think that bec Hybe wants to separate Taekook (so ridiculous) or because of tattoo. We all know that that ban has been lifted several years ago because a lot of men get it to avoid getting drafted . Hopefully he’ll still get to join after his 5 week training. Not sure if they can do that after they got accepted already to a specific unit prior to training . For now what I’ve been seeing is that after the 5 week training the members will go to their allocated units that they signed up for and got into.

You are a godsend. Never knew anyone was saying Tae got special treatment which is freaking ridiculous. He clearly says he’s set goals for himself and that’s why he’s going. It’s probably solos that are saying these weird things and army only want our guys to go and come back safe and healthy. We have a long life to spend with Tannies 💜💜🥰

Thank You! I was seriously wondering what could have prevented our Muscle Bunny from joining Special Forces like TaeTae. JK is very smart, but I have heard him say that he was not strong in academics. It makes sense now. I pray JK doesn't get too down on himself because all 7 of our handsome and multi-talented BTS members will do exceptional as always. There are people who will always doubt our TaeTae's abilities but he will always prove his haters wrong.

Jung Kook graduated from Global Cyber University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting & Entertainment in 2022. He received the 'President's Award', which is the highest award given at graduation. He gave his acceptance speech for it on video because he couldn't make it in person to his graduation. I guess BTS was busy.🙂 Just because we're not "strong" in something doesn't mean through hard work we can't still succeed. All 7 of the guys have their degrees. The other 6 have their Masters. Isn't BTS AMAZING? Looks, talent AND brains! 🥰

@@bdfhvxz I am speculating on what was said online and stated 'It makes sense now' especially if he didn't make it into Special Unit because of the written test. JK has Never been uneducated or a dummy and I never implied that. JK and Suga mentioned they were never into studying or academics way before there were talks of any of them going into the military. JK even mentioned how he got in trouble one time because his mom found out he didn't study and cheated on his test. I have been following BTS for 5 1/2 years now and know everything you mentioned. No one is denying how smart and well rounded JK is, but because he doesn't like studying maybe he didn't put much effort into studying for the written part of the Military Test. If JK truly wants to be in the Special Unit now I hope he gets a second chance because I know he would put effort in and pass it with flying colors. I think JK as well as All the BTS members can do Everything they put their mind and heart into doing and they show that over and over again.
