I have a daughter who went into the AirForce.. And just like all those memories come back. She was tiny to begin with (5’5” 103lbs) and lost so much weight they put her on mandatory rations, where she had double portions and they watched her finish her food. It was hard, but she made it through. These guys have such a high metabolism, I worry for them. We will support them, be strong for them and be here for them. 💜🐿️🫡

As a mother I can only imagine how you feel. When I read your comment I went & looked at both my children sleeping. I’m British Indian 34, son is 14 & daughter 12. Thinking Lord won’t be long before they fly the nest. You should be so proud of your daughter & if it means anything I hope you find comfort in knowing it was her decision you supported & not forced upon her. As you may or may not know in 2023 we still have few countries that military is a mandatory service period & it’s 💔not most are built to want to do it, I’m happy your daughter has a mother like you backing her instead of saying, No 1 reason being she’s female. Sending you nothing but love & respect your way & keeping your daughter in my prayers going forward. I'm very sad but at the same time my heart warms to see and feel the love, friendship, respect, passion they feel for each other and for us. We armys and humanity have a lot to learn from BTS, learn about love and sincere friendship, about simplicity, purity and the value of life. They are always true in what they say, they do everything for us and are always concerned about us giving the best of their souls to us in exchange for love the admiration they receive from us. BTS transcends limits, barriers, borders, paradigms with their music with their sincerity, with their love, they have the power to transform lives. I became a much happier person after becoming a mama army at 55 years old, I am grateful for that and for everything they do for us, they donate body and soul! And now looking forward to supporting the other individual works and looking forward to reunification in 2025!

Today is such a gloomy day for all of us ARMY. The sky even cried with us as well. It just getting harder and harder for us as we witness them go one by one....but one thing I always think about is that the sooner they go the earlier they'll come back. I already feel incomplete and extremely sad but also I'm so proud of our Hope honoring his duty as a good Korean citizen. And he said it himself and I believe him that he's gonna be alright and sure that he'll excel in his military duties just like his Jin Hyung. I will wait for his return and our reunion on 2025. Hi from Australia ive been with bts from the very beginning and ive seen them grow into the men we see today. Im so proud that they never let fame change who they were and are now. They have matured and yet are still like children i love that about them, not afraid to show their feelings and vulnerability. Im 55 years old and bts helped me in my time of need and i listen to them every day and always will. I love all the members equally but jhope was the first one to catch my eye not anything in particular just his overall presence, he is such a kind soul and when he smiles i can't help but smile with him. This is killing me!! J-Hope and I are both INFJs.. so having this super rare personality type I can 100% know how he is really feeling! He is only trying to keep it together for ARMY while dying on the inside! The military environment is an INFJs worst nightmare..His Unit will be blessed to have him… he will sacrifice himself to emotionally take care of his Unit while worrying about his family, members and ARMY back home! I pray this does not break him… That is a dangerous amount of weight to put on an INFJ!

I hate I missed this live. Yesterday I watched when Hobi and the guys arrived at the military base. I watched when Jin went in too. Although they didn't stop or wave or anything, I still felt connected to them. I knew that I was witnessing the beginning of the end of his being a civilian for a while. How profound was that feeling for him when they approached and passed that military gate? This whole process of watching them leave is so emotionally draining. I can't imagine how the members feel watching their brothers go because, like Hobi said, if there was a contest between him and ARMY to see who loved the members the most, he'd win every time. It wouldn't even be close. I wish I had that kind of love and friendship in my life. In that regard, I'm so happy for them. Hwaiting Hobi! We are eagerly waiting for your return. 🥰💜

❣️The empath in me feels his apprehension and he is scared. Who wouldn't be. But you can see it in his eyes. As far as the members enlisting... I won't get into that, but I do want to say that Hobi was the one I was worried about the most. He's sunshine and rainbows. Where he's going is anything but. Hopefully after boot camp, he'll get assigned somewhere where his warm and caring side will flourish and help others. AND NO BUGS!! Lol I pray for each one of them. Their military service requirements have been looming for so many years that it probably almost feels like a relief once it's settled & they get called in. It's that unknown that's always the most difficult... like when you're waiting in line for a scary ride at an amusement park & you have to psych yourself up, but once you're on the actual ride you adapt & find it's not that bad... maybe not a good analogy seeing clips of Hobi on rides 😂... anyway, his/their positive attitudes, amicable personalities, willingness to try new things, and hard work ethics will take him/them far in their service. I wish them all well and hope for their safe returns. Can't wait for them to finish up & come back. Might be similar here, but in Chinese culture we often ask our elders “have you eaten?/had breakfast/lunch/dinner yet?” Really as a sign of respect, especially, i.e., when you’re calling after/around dinner time. It’s a way to let people know you’re thinking about them

I think Koreans asking each other "have you eaten well" is literally asking if they ate, but it also means: "are you ok?" or "how are you doing?". Due to a lot of trying times in the past century (war, Japanese occupation, hunger) when Korea was very poor, having a good meal and knowing your friends and family are well fed was something very precious. Korea quickly developed and is rich today, but past worries are still ingrained in every day conversations. (please correct me if anything I said is wrong).

I’ve learned 밥 먹었어요? bap mogossoyo is a common way to ask if you’re doing well. Literally means have you eaten rice, or simply have you eaten? I was most excited to learn about a culture that taught me right up front 사랑해요 saranghaeyo meaning I love you and did you eat as a first greeting. My daughter went military at 18. The self entitlement of some people who ask any member to speak English gets under my skin. How about THEY go learn Korean? I am because when I visit SK, I want to be able to read signs, menu''s, bus schedules, street names, and addresses without inconveniencing any citizen asking for directions. the positive i do take about them doing this is like what hobi said. they’re gonna get a regular schedule and eat regular meals and hopefully sleep well and be healthy. the guys have been talking about how jin looks really well and he’s gained a healthy weight so that’s cool because the idol life in that way can be very harsh. but yeah i hope mentally they can come out strong too. 💜💜

I've held my tears until I watched this with you. I had delayed watching the live again with the subs because I knew it was going to hurt. I, too, am sad but hopeful. HYBE said there’s a lot of prerecorded content that’s going to last the 2 years of military service. Like Jin’s Valentine’s Day message, 2023 Run BTS with that yoga& that funny soapy soccer, all the BTS members did a OTS for an anime: Bastillion (I think that’s the name) that’s coming out in mid-May 2023. RM said he is working hard creating more music for another album, which probably will be coming out when he is doing military service… food for thought: think there’s a part 2 to Jimin’s Face album(which covered dark subject matter),because he said something like there’s 2 sides of him and life (shown on his photo book, and talked about it on his interviews and making of mv for Like Crazy, and he said he will make lighthearted album next… What do you think? Anyway, we just need to continue to work to keep BTS relevant and strong, and just support and pray for each of them now and while they are serving in the military. And support each other(fans/army), so we won’t feel sad, lost, etc…

Saw his enlistment pic with the other guys. He looks so young with a buzz cut (but cute). Not sure but in the second pic Tae has his head buried and Junkook and RM had their arms around him. I always think of Jimin being so close to J Hope but Tae is too. I am sure they are all a bit sad. (BTW, I love to hear him speak Korean).

Asking about meal is so common in Korean culture. It's like a greeting. First thing my Korean friend asks me would be like did you eat ? if not, let's go eat out and if you say something like oh I am upset due to blah blah. My Korean friend would be like let's go eat. You gotta eat well to go through this. It's just our culture XD. Koreans are serious about 밥 (bob = meal)

this is so heartbreaking to watch 💔 so proud of them for choosing to serve their country even tho they doesn’t have to. (bec i heard that they are exempted doing military service but they chose to do it to avoid issues in other fandoms) this is really getting harder and harder bur we AMRY’s need to be strong for them! 💜
