At some concerts,Dimash does a mash up of both mandarin and Japanese versions. At one concert, Dimash asked the audience which they wanted. People were shouting for their favourite, so he jokingly said ge would sing in in Kazakh.

Dimash always learns about the back ground of all his songs and the meaning of their lyrics. Like I said before he becomes the character and feels their pain 😇

The hand clasped at the were twofold fold for me maybe abstract but I thought that Dimash made the song, the lyrics a “prayer” but also a symbol of honor I believe in the Asian or Japanese culture that Dimash did purposefully to their culture. Here Dimash sings in Japanese for the first time. A very risky think Dimash does when touring is sing a song in the language of the country he sings in while touring. Wikipedia doesn’t have it right. We dears know it’s 16 languages. At the 2017 the singer competition alone he sings in kazak, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese and maybe other dialects. After that he’s done a Ukrainian, and several times in Italian.i have heard most of his languages but they are so many it’s hard to keep up. Understand that that university where he got two masters and is in his doctorate would have been extensive training in the arts. One of his classes was a master class in Broadway stage production which you see in all of his live and staged video productions. What you are seeing hearing Dimash has taken part in. He is coping control of ever end product that he releases without being an egotist. Having started at age 2 he would know what he wants and having no contract even owning his own ticket agency he can charge what he wants for a ticket as I paid $12 for the 2021 January, 16th digital concert show being an invalid and indigent.

"At the 2017 the singer competition alone he sings in kazak, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese and maybe other dialects." Heh. You forgot SOS! (French). He also sang Confessa which is Italian. But he only sang one Chinese song (Daybreak, in Mandarin).

Wow! This makes him a very astute businessman also! It still amazing to me that he is fluent in so many languages and that he is so kind and graceful that he sings in the home language of the country that his concert is in. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me. Keep watching, I appreciate it.
@ralphmellor190912 күн бұрын
@ I'd say he's only fully fluent in at most two languages (Kazak and Russian). I'm pretty sure he's only ever rapped in Kazak for precisely the reason you need to be fluent to rap. He speaks English very well all things considered, but I would say he's not quite fluent. He learns foreign songs phonetically. That is to say, by the sounds he's making, without direct regard for their meaning. (Though he does of course take translations into account to guide his emotional delivery.) If you ever do livestreams of Dimash, one stream theme could be doing the songs where he's only ever sung one song in a given language. And of all those, I'd say his Armenian "I would die for the wind of the mountains" has the most extraordinary back story; among other things he only heard it for the first time in the morning before he performed it in a live concert that evening; for another, he did such an incredible performance that some locals said it was by far the best performance of the song they'd ever heard.

Koji Tamaki (Japanese composer and singer) wrote this song. He said that only Dimash portrayed the emotion he intended when he wrote the song. There is a video of Koji singing this song for the last time and sobbing so violently that I didn’t think he’d be able to finish it. Some other man (Chinese?) took the song and wrote Chinese lyrics to it that are quite different. 🎉❤🎉
