IU really is the greatest KPOP singer!!! Not only does she sing great songs, but she knows how express the emotion and the feelings of the song so well. Hold my Hand which is the first song she wrote is my favorite song by her, so I was glad that was her encore. But Hold My Hand and My Sea by her are my top 2 favorite KPOP songs of all time. Dear Name and Love Poem are also at the top of my list of favorite IU songs.

The IU rabbit hole is a wonderous place. I am subscribing to your channel in hopes that you do in fact start your IU journey. I can't tell you how many people I have watched react to IU for the 1st time and state that they are going to dive into her music and then nothing. I personally don't understand it. I don't know if it is because she is a solo artist and therefore she doesn't create the constant idea of excitement. I am really puzzled. I do all I can to bring her to the attention of people in an effort to increase her fan base, in Hope's that she might come to the states. Well that is now happening with 6 scheduled concerts in July (Atlanta, D.C., New Jersey, Chicago, Oakland and LA). Now I have an issue. Realizing that with any person whom I play any part in turning into an IU fan I am decreasing my chances of getting tickets when they actually go on sale. But I would rather she sell out every concert and me not get tickets than for their to be one ticket unsold. This is how deep into her rabbit hole I am. And we need people like you to help the cause. I have watch reactors start off not fully convinced that she is all that people like me say she is. But it is fun to watch those who start the journey (it usually only take 2 sometimes 3 reactions before you can see then becoming believers. There is so much content available. She uses her MV's to add depth and meaning to the story she is telling. So her MV's for those songs are important for that understanding. For example, she sometimes uses more than one song to tell the story, Blueming is part 3 of a 4 part story that starts in 2011 with You & I a song about time travel to meet up with the love of her life. It continued with her song Above the Time in 2019, continues with Blueming and ends with her 2021 song Strawberry Moon. Each song stands on it's own but knowing they are connected and related adds even more. FYI she debuted in 2008 at the age of 15 (note Korea uses a different way of counting age. At birth you are 1 and they turn the age at news years. So in Killing Voice when she said she was 25, that's 25 Korean age and 24 international age. March of last year the Korean government switched to the International system for government purposes only. IU is staying with the Korea system because she has been looking so forward to be 30, lol.) So she was 15 international age when she debuted with her song Lost Child. It is a beautiful song but didn't ho over well with kpop fans at the time. The subject matter (the ending of a relationship) wasn't what they were expecting or wanting from a young kpop artist. She became a National Star with her 1st #1 hit Good Day in 2010. Since then she has had over 32 #1 hits the most by a factor of 2 in Korea. She came to the US in 2014 for a Kpop convention. But at the time her English wasn't good enough to really communicate with her fans. She said in an interview that she would learn English before she returned. I have provide a few links below to some of her live performances. Her MV's are important but she sounds even better live. Blueming 2019 Love Poem Concert Background - This song is part 3 of a four part story about young couple in love that are constantly separated by time, dimension, physical structures and health. IU debut when she was 15 years old. For this Dingo performance, she sang songs in her 20s, meaning by the age of 20, she's already an experienced performer and a legend. Furthermore, most of these songs has her contributions in it either by her lyrics and/or by her inputs in its songwritings... I've went into the rabbit hole 3 years ago and have been awed with her artistry as well as with her personality. If I want to make a recommendation say, top 5 or 6 videos of IU that one must watch, I believe they should be these:- 1. IU Killing Voice (which you have watched) 2. IU's vocals are like listening to angels singing.she has that angelic voice. And Like she can make you cry and comfort just listening to her voice when she sings her songs knees, dear name, lullaby, love poem, winter sleep and many more of her songs. Shes a really good storyteller too who sang with emotions. And I learned that when they record this dingo music she has a cold. But you can't notice coz she's that good. And also the newly uploaded of love wins all behind the scene recording session. She has the flu again. And we didn't notice the song we hear in MV coz her vocals were really that great even if she had the flu. Salute to this gurl even though she's sick she still does it professionally

usually Idol debut contract lasts 7 years, so she finally get to resign her new contract when she is 23 that she get to negotiate on her terms to produce her own songs and formed her own team that eventually formed Edam now. That's when she kick start her age series song as well from 23 (btw she got two song entitled 23 as well which one of it is used as her drama OST for her role Cindy who also an idol in the drama too), Palette(25), Eight (28), supposingly the next one is 4 years after 28 which 32, but due to age counting system change in korea, so I'm uncertain which song is her 32 age series now.
