Yesss! J~Hope was worried cos his brothers weren’t there and communication with BeckyG /the dancers might be limited. Becky said we’ll communicate with our bodies and music! One of the dancers said he’d never seen anybody work as hard as J~Hope! Also love that Hobi wanted to permanently credit All the young international dancers after his and BeckyG’s name as his way to additionally thank and support them!

Genuine question, I'm sorry if this will offend someone, but I'm just curious because a lot of people(some aren't even black) in Facebook/twitter said that Jhope's twists(is that right?) is somehow offensive and a cultural appropriation. So is it really? Thanks to whoever will answer.

My personal opinion is that there is a difference between cultural appropriation and cultural appreciation. I feel like its appropriation is when you take stuff from other cultures and you dont pay homage to the culture, disrespect it and don't give credit to the culture. With j-hope i feel like he does great justice to black/Hispanic cultures, obviously respecting and appreciating them. Also he does great homage to new York/harlem culture, I've seen a few people from those areas already say that they love the video because of the nostalgia and accuracy. So I think in these cases people shouldn't be offended, if anything j-hope is bringing different cultures together.
