There is Tales of Runterra witch gives you information for almost every region. İn these cinematics there is Iona , Noxus , Bilgewater , Demacia , Targon and so on. There is a lot of important information in these so you musst watch. Mski told something about Ionians can't do homes or any thing by cutting tree but they do with some prayers. Thats totally true and u can watch it in Tales of Runterra Ionia cinematic. I strongly recomment you to watch those.

Regarding the Path: the first one. This cinematic is about stories and legend that get told around the Ioninan Spirit Blossom Festival. Its why the subtitle is an Ionian Myth. Ionia is land where the boundary between the material world and spiritual world is thin, Creating a land where spirit and the balance between spirit and physical are important. The Spirit Bblossom festival is a celebration when the rare Spirit Blosoms bloom, allowing Spirits of the Dead to reach out and communicate for a brief moment with the living throught the Blossoms on specific spiritual places, the main one being on the Hill we see in the back when Yasuo first runs into the old man. That is what was meant with "looking to commune" the assumption was that Yasuo was looking to basically try to reach out to someone he lost, during the war as this was the first time the blossoms bloomed since the Invasion of Ionia ended around 7 years ago (12 since it started) In Ionia it is believed that when a person dies his soul crosses into the Spirit world where it is meet with the Guide - Spirit of Salvation in the form of a fox, who guides them along a winding path to their final peaceful rest ... along the path many other spirits try to entice the Soul to leave the path and basically gain it into the possession, or for natural benevolent reasons. The Guide will not stop the Soul from leaving the path by its own choice. A strong enough Soul can even become a Spirit of its own. This is what we see momentarily at the end when the white-haired man starts to glow and grows glowing horns. The man in this is one from the tale of 2 brothers, where the brothers had different views and values, (different versions have different reasonings) but always the brothers would end up fighting and then killing one another in their fight. Basically a myth version of Yasuos and Yones story. That is why they look different, its not the same person as in the 'Kin of the Stained Blade' Since Ionia boundary with the Spirit world is thin, spirits can often manifest there, both benevolent and malevolent ones, the later saw a sharp increase especially lesser(little) demons called Azakana who attach themselves on to a person or spirit and feed on a specific negative emotion, until they drain and kill the host, becoming mature demons.
