If you go to a concert of a really decent bunch of musicians, be it rock, opera, symphony, choral, or anything else of quality, all fans are equal. i have a 53yr old mum, i am a teenager and ive been brought up with 70s-90s music and a bit of the 2000s. so much better then new music. put the eagles on, litterally amazing. come to england queen is widely known, ask an 11year old to namea song by them and they can. my mum explained how they werent allowed to play this on the radio yet the dj locked himself into the room and played it full twice and thats how this song became famous. or thats how it started becoming popular.

I'm 44 years old, born and raised in Oakland, CA. The first time I heard Queen was when I found their cassette tape on the sidewalk when I was riding my bike.
