First Ride: 2018 Honda CBR1000RR SP Fireblade

My first upload for a little while!
I test ride a 2018 Honda CBR1000RR SP Fireblade. This is my first ride of this model and I try it out across motorways, A and B roads and some urban town riding.
See my thoughts on the changes from the previous model, what is similar, what is new and whether Honda have managed to catch up with the rest of the litre bike offerings.
I love the new electronics package especially the Ohlins semi active suspension and the bi-directional quickshifter. This bike is lighter, sharper and faster and is a lot of fun to ride.

I’ve had my SP for a few months now and it’s the best bike I’ve ridden and owned , it’s hard to describe how this thing rides its unbelievable, great review .my 500 two strokes have been made redundant 😳

I had a honda cbr1000rr 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and now I have a 2030 model it's called the honda cbr1000rrrrrrrrrr-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr fireblade, it has ABS, brakes are absolutely phenomenal, the acceleration is from 0-60mph in around 2.3-2.5 seconds and it has a top speed of 230mph, and I would of course know this, as well, I am from the year 2040

Great review mate, I'm picking the new cbr sp up tomorrow having rode an 1198 Ducati for two years and tbh having watched your review I can't wait , just hoping it's as much fun as the duke was , but yea great honest overview of the bike , coming from a current blade rider it means allot , thank you and ride safe pal

Buy one you won’t be disappointed and for those who say false neutral- nope don’t occur - was an ecu tt alternate that caused this. The blade rocks

Love your videos, you mentioned that you had suspension work done on your 2015 for more compliant road use, I have a 2013, could you advise what work you had done and if you were happy. Also do you find the SP as compliant as your 2015 when set to soft mode. Would really appreciate your thoughts.

You've got to remember you're paying for the suspension here over the base model, as well as some other things. Also the base has Tokiko brakes not Nissins. Good review though.
