The OGs are fun. I saw a slew of old school Torker and Torker2 builds at dirtyfest this year.

Thanks bro. It’s a fun bike to ride. Martin was my favorite pro flatland rider from my era so it’s a little cooler

I dig those hella bright yellow spokes they pop! Very cool they made that frame with a caliper mount for rear disc. I run those same flight cranks keep an eye on the spindle screw I had one that kept backing out on me, lost it and had to order a set they are locktite in now. Also I am a bit surprised they left the tube ends open on the chain stays and sets stays. As always thanks for the great content Issac!

The rear disc brake just makes sense. It’s a flatland bike and if we could have had disc brakes in the 80s - we would have loved them. Appreciate you bro!

Galvanic rust you mentioned will not occur if less precious metal such as aluminum makes up most of the total in the bicycle part and more precious metal such as stainless acid-resistant bolts make up less in relation in part combination. Greetings from Croatia

Ha! I’ve been editing this one for a month because I keep tinkering with it. Changing bars… changing grips… stems…. I like to tinker with new bikes a lot

Really nice-looking bike. I'm not built for anything bigger than a 26" bike but that one really looks cool. I've always been drawn to that double top tube because it looks unique, but it's unique with a purpose! It's functional art. I just bought a hew bike about a month ago so I'm not even gonna check on pricing and availability. I might end up kicking myself. What did you think of the carbon bars you were originally running. They seemed a bit narrow, but I like the idea of saving weight on a big bike like that.🤙

hey is there any tips on how to wheelie a heavier bike? I bought a thruster saturn 9 29 inch bike unfortunately se bikes are mad expensive and i cant afford them now and before i had this bike i was using a mountain bike 29 inches and it feels like i lost all my progress because i cant barely get the wheel up because the bike feels heavy and it immediately drops. What do i upgrade to fix it

Great question! Two options, find some other buddies at local rides and ask them if you can ride their bikes. Taller or shorter bars might be the answer. Ask what gearing they’re running and go from there. Second, tag me in a video of you trying to pull up and I’ll offer any advice I can from visually seeing what stage you’re at. Wear a helmet and send it. It’s usually not committing to pulling up to the balance point that holds us up. Good luck!

@@BigBikeBMX what are some handle bars that you recommend and is it possible to change gear on a single speed - im also at a stage where im able to wheelie just not for a long time (like 5 seconds or so) its just the new bike feels heavy i can barely pop the wheel up and i cant get it to the balance point.

@@domina_ I like the Supercross 8” flatline bars myself. Any 8” bar will likely help. Without seeing what you’re doing, I can’t really help, but keep practicing

So what year did you leave the 20-in wheel behind? I love the channel I know it's big bike BMX 😂 but can we get some 20-in stuff there's so many amazing products out there that would probably blow your mind lol .I've tried riding big wheel bikes there cool but there just not for me I could never commit to buying one I feel like it's cheating lol

@@BigTree412 I gave up on the 20”-24” world in 2010. In 2019 I got my 29” and my only thought was, “well at least it’s a bike and it’s not a mtb.” I had no intention of doing wheelies or freestyle it. After a week though, I was doing the stuff I did on the 20” as a kid. The size of the bike doesn’t matter to me at all - as long as you’re stoked, shred it. 20” to 29”

@@BigBikeBMX hell yeah bro that's what's up man I've actually heard that a lot from people that get older and they say the 20-in wheel is just too small my issue with the big wheel bikes is there a lot longer and they're harder to spin on and I've fallen a lot and you're right it's not a mountain bike if it was we'd have some issues I'm just kidding bro
@BigTree4123 ай бұрын
@@BigBikeBMX I know you said you rode flatland have you ever messed with a free coaster? They have a lot of different hubs out there now that are very special they have ones that act like a cassette but coast like a free coaster I seen your videos about you know talking about freewheels and different stuff like that you got to get a cassette hub so many more options and you also could keep your same gear ratio but would have a smaller sprocket on the front because of how small they can make the drivers
