There's so many great products you could have used. I had good success with JB weld on tanks. Now you need another stihl tank unfortunately.
@jaguars0045 жыл бұрын
Yea before people always said JB weld wouldn't hold up, I shoulda have tried that
@markssmallengines35425 жыл бұрын
@@jaguars004 it's possible they didn't let it set 100%. I let it set for about 48hrs before I even try fuel. I used it on an old Gray Ferguson tractor tank 8 years ago and still seals. It's no good for strength though if you want to use it to weld metal together an put weight or tension on it lol

@@markssmallengines3542 Yeaq thats my experience too. It would always just instantly crack and break. Im satisfied with this plastic tank now though

That was some crafty work. I am glad to see that one running again! And the computer system still works too! We should both go on a ride sometime with all of the bikes running now!

Why didn't you use epoxy ? Grind all that crap off, clean, and mix jb weld, 50/50 . It will make permanent repair.

Next time use Quiksteel, it's strong and it's gas resistant.

Why not get rid of all the aluminium stuff on the tank and them just weld a big plate on the side and put something cool on it too if u want
@franswa2594 жыл бұрын

What are the exact tires you use, and what tires do you recommend... 110/50/6.5

It depends For what bike of mine?
@bamabuilds99215 жыл бұрын
@@jaguars004 I am wondering... I have a Xtremepowerus Pocket Bike with 110/50/6.5 tires... My Pocket Bikes tire popped after a week of riding so we got a new one and that one popped in a day.. You seem to have good luck with tires I think, so I was just wondering if you have any opinions on the tire I should get... Also thank you for responding to my comment, you are one of my favorite KZbinrs and I love the vids and the Bikes...
@jaguars0045 жыл бұрын
No problem, is there a physical hole in the tire though? If it’s just loosing air with no hole than you probably just need to run an oil bead around the rim so it seals. If you have a hole than you need to just be careful what your riding over lol
@bamabuilds99215 жыл бұрын
@@jaguars004 the tire was not losing pressure or anything, it was a big surprise because I was stopped waiting for my friend to catch-up to me.. The next second I heard a loud boom.. I got off the bike and saw a GIANT hole/slash gash in the tire... the gash was probably 10 inches long, and 3inches wide... Both the tires I have can easily be cut through with safety siccors, so I was just wondering if you have any suggestions on good, reliable tires... I have been DYING to ride the Bike named Steve, and not having a tire has been preventing me from riding... I hope u can help, and even if u can't... U will still be my favorite KZbinr!!!!
