First ride in the 346 HP maverick R on the EVO X85 tune

We take our Evo tuned X85 Maverick R out to st Anthony to race and see what it will do.
We run a stock mav R for comparison and a few rzrs. One of the turbo pro R rzrs is bone stock on an ibexx turbo kit with 8 psi. The ibexx wrapped pro R has a stock compression motor with pistons and rods, stock head and their off the shelf turbo kit. We were kinda close on low boost but when he turned it up we were left in the dust.

I rode shotgun in a Mav R last week with a guy who had a bunch of tuning and mods on his, he was making about 320HP at the wheels, that thing was _WILD_ lol. We were at Coos Bay and as fun as it was out in the open dunes it really shined in the trails, I didn't know it was possible to go that fast through those trails, the Mav R is one hell of a capable machine.

Use paddle shifter, no reason why you shouldn’t be able to hold 4th. I run about 58-61 mph at top of choke in 4th gear. I run sport+

What engine mode were you in at the hill? Maybe sport+ will make the transmission behave better for drags

Trans was in sport + and engine in sport. There isn’t a difference in power from sport to sport+ so I run in that so it’s not doing the Anti-lag everytime i let off the gas

@@UTVInvasion I just got mine so I don’t have much time with it. But I thought the trans would follow the engine mode? Maybe trying sport+ next time and let us know if it makes any difference. Regardless, sport mode should have been good enough

@@deeskee30 you can change the trans separate from the engine. I have tried both and no difference between them.

It has been fixed. This was shot over a week ago. Evo sent me a dct trans tune that fixed it. It was throwing it into safe mode. I’ll have updated video coming soon.
