I guess I like speed a bit but acceleration is more fun. This scooter is not a rocket to 20 so that detracts from the excitement. I would say the scooter gets away with being a bit lackluster by always looking really nice and appears easier to repair due to the single sided swing arms.

I mainly ride an Inmotion RS Dec. 2023 batch. Little faster than the earlier models, using a smoother thumb throttle, PMT T41 slicks, it's just perfect. My wife & I motorcycle together but she's now interested in PEV'ing with me now on EUCs, eScooters & eBikes. I've looked at the OXO, but for $2K giving me small tubed tires, no center color LCD, avg performance, quirky suspension, and a small deck that's not fully covered with silicone/rubber... it doesn't get my nod. If you put its nice design to the side, you're not really getting much for that price. Especially when Segway GT2's when on sale are only $500 more, the OXO is not even a contender. Personally I'm no fan of Segways GT's either, small battery, oversized design and avg performance, but I have to keep in mind I'm looking for my wife. As for Inokim, I think its time to re-design or re-price it down to $1.2K max, respectively where it belongs. Great comprehensive reviews btw! Thanks.

Thanks! It’s been so long since we did the last review, I was sort of figuring it out as I went. I've been considering the purchase of an electric scooter for using to ride to my nearby fishing spots. Most of the roads that take me to those spots are flat and paved but, a few are flat and graveled. Does this scooter have the ability to pull a simple bicycle trailer? If it can't pull a little trailer then, there's no point in me getting one or, at least not this scooter. I would need a scooter with the balls to be able to pull a trailer. Ideally a scooter with a good amount or range per charge too. Right now I'm riding my eBike to my fishing spots and it can get me about sixty miles. If I take along my spare battery I can get up to 80 miles if I keep it in the lower peddle assist modes and do more peddling than just running off battery power BUT, the older I get the lazier I get. It would be nice to visit the same nearby fishing spots without having to peddle or without having to spend the gas money to get there.

Suspension is very durable and will not break lol. I’ve jumped mine off everything and rode it through hard compacted dried dirt with huge ruts from skid loader tracks as well as tire tracks going over 30mph and it took it like a champ. What kind of complaint is that the suspension is it visible..why in the world would that be a bad thing… lastly the folding mechanism while it can be better (it’s not the easiest to open back up) is not at all unsafe..the rubber strap is there for you to not accidentally kick it down with you foot. There is alot of tension holding that lever up and you can safely ride it without the rubber strap. It’s just there as a secondary fail safe just in case. Ride the scooter and learn about it before making these assumptions…it’s a great scooter and in my option the best looking scooter that goes 40mph with that much range and height adjustable suspension.
@aklankrisz Жыл бұрын
You're wrong in technical aspects. Price could be lower, but that's the price of an Inokim OXO. If you want another scooter than buy one of those. Otherwise, you don't seem to understand what makes a scooter great and comfortable. Buy one of those mass produced Frankeinstein design scooters. Those are so "nice" of course they don't have thumb throttle. No great suspension. Bolts everywhere, like on a child's toy which has just been put together as a prototype.
