love that cross -plane engine hope it holds up for you with no issues and your brave running triple's on a bike just out of shop they could have left anything loose that would have just fell apart couple miles in but I am more cautious than you and you know your bike way better than me so be safe bro glad to see the REAL bike back haha

Great to see you on your R1 again CTG!!!! Odd to see you rolling at speeds that my 650 does but yeah, break-in period and you have to refamiliarize yourself with how the R1 feels. That will happen in about a day and the break-in is 600 miles, I guess. Wonderful to hear that 270 crossplane roaring again!

Slightly loose chain goes easy on the output shaft bearing at the front sprocket. Too much tension there will burn it out. Plus they want him to slow down until the 600 mile oil change and engine check.

I could hear it sounded a little off at low rpm throttle and seemed a little hesitant at the gas station. Hopefully that works itself out on it's own.

Stock ecu software with the open exhaust will go full rich to compensate for the extra exhaust flow and fuel mixture lean out. I would also expect the valves to be adjusted as closed as possible for them to seat right. This would make the bike a little choked down low but pull from the bottom line a frikken freight train. After the first 600 mile service for the new engine, Goat will be running wild again. It sure will be fun to watch.

3:35 you may have burned through some condensation water in the gas lines/tank. If the tank was empty for a long time, you can get a little condensation water in the tank. Burn through that fresh tank of Ethanol fuel should clean it out. Glad you got the R1 back!
