First River Adventure (Boat Angling) 2024 Walleye Fishing the Wisconsin River

Put the ice fishing gear away and pulled out the boat.
This was the second boat adventure for 2024 My shakedown run on February 1st went great (Stevens Point Flowage) but I did not take video.
Love the new duel 15' Minn Kota Talons. Sure makes launching the boat easy and shallow water anchoring enjoyable. Once you
know their limitations you adjust how you position your boat for maximum fishing production.

What type of heater do you have? How do you like it?

It's a diesel heater. I tagged one on this video for you to check out. They're like a 12 volt portable hair dryer that run on kerosene or diesel. Great for ice camping and fishing in the cold. I like using the flexible tube (comes with the unit) and putting into one of my ice bib leg opening for a quick full body warm-up. 😁👍
