Heck of a setup!! And some nice fish! Before adding more studs I’d try to get more weight on that front tire that might help with a little more traction.

That bike is pretty slick. My issue is having waaaay too much stuff on my outings. My minimum is one jet sled loaded up with gear when I walk and bigger sleds if I'm pulling gear with my snowmobile. The other issue would be all the water options around here......I just moved to the area and it's hard to decide where to start fishing! Oh, and the third issue is I'm 61 and it's not as fun pulling things by hand as it used to be. Like you, I like having options and will be heading north again soon to try somewhere new. Maybe we can meet up sometime this winter or spring as I also fish out of kayaks myself. Thanks for the info Nick. I may or may not get a similar bike (no where to put it now) but I do have a couple of those Milwaukee Mud Drills because of you and I love em......light and work awesome. You came to mind again recently after I moved here as I had watched some of your river walleye videos years ago. I'm in Marinette, so buzz me if you want to chat or want to fish with somebody on the weekend. I'm not skittish about fishing new places by myself but it would be nice to meet someone local who gets out there. Thanks, Michael

Nice crappie Nick ! Grew up with a friend who ice raced motorcycles, HUNDREDS of studs in his tires. Strap on ski up front and stud up your back tire sounds like a sweet rig.

Hi Nick, I got an ebike and found your channel looking for someone using one on ice. Your progress is encouraging. I was making chains and then decided to get studded tires. Cst tobaggen is what I bought, much cheaper than a box of studs. No ice in Howell area, so haven't tried them yet.

heck ya nice bike! :) No ice in Indiana, yet :( I need to drive up to see ya sometime

Love your videos. A real person just sharing rather than those polished professional videos that are really just trying to get to us to buy something. I got a pair of Mobile Warming heated gloves and they are wonderful for ice fishing if you are prone to cold fingers like I am. I like them a little large as it easy then easy to get them on and off frequently as required by ice fisherman. Not all heated gloves are made the same so be sure to get those that warm the fingers and not just part of the hand.

Make a ski with a carbide for the front tire that you can strap on and off.

Take that e bike apart. Make it in. To a four wheeler. You are risking your life and all your gear. You're too old and consequently.A little foolish to be doing what you're doing. One good spill and it will be bad

Appreciate the feedback, but I'm comfortable with the risks I'm taking. I don't feel that old 😕

get them studs right down the middle...... we been using cold kutters for years on dirt bikes....500 cc big bore on ice 110 mph.

When using live scope in less than 15ft of water the transducer power will scare natural and negative fish away !
@Sometimes74538 күн бұрын
😂😂😂😂😂 i catch all sorts of fish all the time in less than 3 ft of water on my livescope
@wayne-oo8 күн бұрын
@ It’s not that you can’t catch them , but that when fish are in a neutral to negative bite it will affect them !

Acetone or nail polish remover will get that glue off your fingers. I apply it to a cotton ball and then rub the cotton ball on my fingers or hands.

I use a bucket to sit on but I sit on the lid . It's soft. I removed a small section so I can drop keepers in it. I also made up a small T handle spud bar that I use as balance spud to help stand back up . Still waiting on good ice here in Maine

The shuttle is a Basskhang XXL basskhang.com/collections/shuttles plus I added his pole and pole holders. It was under $400 not including the Amped 32ah battery that I already had.
