Love the video James - The Hake was a highlight for me, I have only caught very small ones in Southern California. Should be good eating, I have heard that you have to take very good care of them after capture for the best eating experience.

@@daleedmunds you know i wanted to catch sablefish not hake. Lol. Yup it’s pretty fragile but we bleed it and ice it right away. So we took good care of it. Hake was so flake and light - i can hardly taste anything as sashimi. lol. Not as fatty as i thought Anyways, thank you for watching dale. :)

Nice. I have seen 1 picture for sable fish at 14 miles. Good luck hunting. Right now I’m hunting for local lincod. I like to get one my boat. Been trying last 7/8 times now. lol
