Hi vern,wow the scenery never fails does it even going through the towns is great to see from someone like me watching from the uk,only last week we was moaning at minus 6 at night and zero in the day so those temps are just bonkers😂

Mine drips too, Vern. It’s from condensation. when it’s cold out, and warm in the cab, moisture forms under those panels and finds its way into the cab… 🙄

Thinking about it I think it was Ice that formed inside like you say condensation with it being super cold outside at Frozen and then when it warmed up it started to drip it did it as well right at the front just to the left of where the CB is

Yes what's the temperature drops to - 13 C I'll leave it running all night, But on one of those particular nights the temperature when I went to bed was -10c so I didn't leave the engine running and the Schoolboy era didn't look at the weather forecast it dropped to -20 in the night !! 😳 the big problem is not keeping the truck warm it was still reasonably warm at that + 12 but batteries take a hammering and the alarm went off telling me that my batteries were just under 12 volt so it was time to crank the engine up

@@weeyorkshiremantrucking6754 that’s really interesting much different in those climates we don’t have that sort of cold down here really, but the OEM’s are big on idle hours for engine oil consumption and warranty. With all the idling do you find the engines glaze up or you wouldn’t be running them that often?

@rayw9067 it is causing a big problem with the def/ADD Blue Once you're up about 6 -700 000 miles and they are especially bad for the trucks that run in the really cold climates all the time

@@weeyorkshiremantrucking6754 yeah that’s interesting even our Volvos on pto hours in good weather are blocking up so I can imagine always idling in the cold it would be very bad, we are only running euro5 so far also so I imagine euro 6 with DPF and SCR is a pain in the behind and expensive.
